I have a 1976 Peavy Classic 50. Replaced all the tube a few years back.. It's definitely a heavy apm, glad I don't carry it around much these days. Nice studio.

I have a similar rug - but that's where the similarities end! Great set-up Lewin, I've been following your channel for a few years now, and all (or any) of the breakthroughs I've made in developing my home recording techniques, originated from advice you helpfully shared.

Greetings from Wales, UK. Such a great studio space you have 🙂 I love my GAP PREQ73 on my Carnhill modded GAP PRE73 MK III, awesome for 'Snare Top' 😎 I have 10 outboard channels (Golden Age Project/Premier/Alctron) of 1073 style pre's for my home drum studio space. Let me know if you need any remote drum stems 😎

Awesome brother...I'm proud of you 👍. I've got a 2014 Mac mini that crashed.i took it to the shop, and got it fixed,but Apple won't let me download garage band. I looked it up and they are doing this to a lot of ppl. I just downloaded reaper and been trying to figure it out. If you have any ideas for getting garage band back on mine, please let me know. Miss your vids.and Beautiful studio 🎉
@scottstevenson61144 күн бұрын
I’m sure you can download the old version you had before with an older Mac. I have a 2009 Mac and once when the app was deleted and wouldn’t let me get the new version I just had to look through the system to redownload the old one. I can still use GarageBand on it

Hi...Another great video! I have a problem with my Garageband. I'm wanting to mix my recorded songs using a multitrack interface but i can't see how to output from my projects to the Behringer UMC1820...All the inputs are present though which i find a bit strange...Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks...Jay..
@GaragebandandBeyond7 сағат бұрын
What happens when you set the inputs to channel 2-8? Can you record through them or not? I assume you're assigning inputs to channels that are are actually being used on the interface.
@jayp6317 сағат бұрын
@@GaragebandandBeyond Hi and thanks for the reply. I've already recorded the songs now I'm wanting to do a better mix than what Garageband offers by using a U-Phoria 1820 as an interface then from the U-Phoria 1820 into a mixer. Only inputs are showing in the smart controls and not output..?? Thanks..
@GaragebandandBeyond6 сағат бұрын
@@jayp631 oh OK. I understand what you’re trying to do now. Yes, you are correct, GarageBand does not have any outputs for routing signals However, I will say, you can do pretty much everything “inside the box”. What is it that you’d like to accomplish? Exactly are you trying to cuse an external compressor or some sort of effect unit?

Nice... but isn't the celing too low?
@GaragebandandBeyond2 күн бұрын
Too low for what?
@mojito6629Күн бұрын
@@GaragebandandBeyond in the video it seems like the ratio of the length and width of the studio are far bigger compared to the height, (of course for a recording studio, why you ask that? What is this video about?), but of course i can be wrong, that's why I asked.
@GaragebandandBeyondКүн бұрын
@@mojito6629 no, it’s not too low. I can still record in the room.
@mojito6629Күн бұрын
@@GaragebandandBeyond nice to know that. Although, reading your reply... well, you know, even if it's a too low ceiling doesn't mean you cannot record in it (and you know that). but, Anyway, ok,... again, it's good to know that it's not too low. thanks for the video
