Let’s be honest…. There was one “elite” QB this year and the Bears weren’t coming off that pick. So you wanna “tank” for an elite QB next year? Which one? Ewers? Sanders? Are they elite? Draft elite talent, we have Andrew Thomas, maybe Burns, Banks and Thibodeaux become elite…. But what elite QB are we trading for this year?? Don’t draft QBs until you have a strong roster. Build the roster

Funny how guys like Tannenbaum think the Giants screwed the pooch by not taking JJ. He is a reach, a project. Yes he helped win the college football championship but they were built as a run heavy outfit and they didn't need the qb to carry the team. Nabers gives them a true wr1 that teams need to defend against.

As much as I think Jones is overrated and overpaid he still hasn’t had a decent O-line, decent WR’s. Jones’ contract isn’t terrible, fairly modest for a QB on his second contract with the cap going up. Nabers is the best pick here. You disagree, your delusional

I love getting Malik Nabers with the first pick, but I am not a fan of giving Jones another chance under center. I just wish the Giants had a better QB, because with a talented player like Nabers down field I have my doubts whether Jones can deliver the ball with any accuracy.

Only difference is....... Beckham had a 2-time SB MVP throwing to him. Nabers has an injury-ridden bust throwing to him. How many games did Eli Manning miss due to injury even though he took a beating in many periods of his career? The answer is ZERO. Zero games missed due to injury. Nabers is a phenomenal pick, and a great talent. But none of that means anything with a crap QB and shaky O-line. Just facts.......

Defense improved this offseason, Burns, Lawrence and Thibodeau form a good good basis on the front 7. McFadden and Okereke give us a decent set of middles for the first time in years. Banks promising. The identity of the team has shifted, no longer Saquon and Daniel. It’s the defense. Any Giants fan that hates the Nabers pick is delusional🤷🏻‍♂️
