I love Fashanu at 10, but the breakdown is was tough for me. Olu isn’t just an upside guy, he isn’t just a raw guy that needs to find the right system. Though that’s part of it(and true for every draft pick), olu is the best pass protecting tackle in this draft. I believe in watching his tape you will find him to actually be the most refined in pass blocking out of any of the tackles. He still has his ways to go and certainly wasn’t perfect at Penn State, best example his games against Ohio State. Definitely got a bit exposed. But that kid, though relatively new to the game time wise, has great feet and hands.

I can’t wait to watch him and form my own opinions on his game, he was rated so high to start with and just because the other tackles have had a good pre-draft process doesn’t mean he’s worse, it’s just recency bias. The word and breakdowns on Fashanu are all over the place, I can’t wait to what side I fall on with his evaluation for sure.
