I’ve been a fan of your mock drafts for a while. Last year I correctly predicted that the Seahawks would select Devon Witherspoon with the 5th pick after Jalen Carter self destructed in his pro day workout. I also talked you out of the idea that you had for a few weeks last year that the Seahawks would pick Will Levis at number 5. This year, I agree with you that John Schneider will want to trade down with the 16th pick as the Seahawks need more draft capital- especially since they traded away their second round pick for Leonard Williams. But this plan presupposes that they can find a willing trade partner with an attractive enough package. Although I agree with you that Brock Bowers is the best player on the board in your mock draft at this point, but if the Seahawks are unable to trade down and have to use the 16th pick, I don’t see them drafting a tight end. They just resigned Noah Fant to a long term contract and feel that they can find other backups later in the draft ( such as Jaheim Bell e.g.). Mike McDonald is a defensive coach and the Seahawks are coming off of a season where they were dead last in the NFL in run defense. Thus, if they have to use the pick, I think they will use it on a defensive tackle - either Byron Murphy or Jerzhan Newton. But if they can find a trade down option to get a high second round pick (when both Murphy and Newton will be gone), they would love to get Kris Jenkins. Mike McDonald coached at Michigan and knows that Kris Jenkins is the kind of player that he can throw into the defensive line rotation as a rookie and be productive right away. Pretty much what he said is there’s really no argument for Maye to be over Daniels. Can’t say he’s more ready to go and turn around and tell us your prayer of Maye might be a 10 year starter. It’s a hope that Maye becomes better than Daniels. It’s simple can Maye do what Daniels does? No he can’t. But Daniels can do what Maye does. The only difference is the arm strength which is really marginal when you look at it.

I think if nabers was there at 10, the colts would be in heavy consideration to move up. Ballard has moved up before for players he believes in. There should be more mock drafts out there where the colts move out of pick 15, either up or down. I have a hard time believing the colts stick and pick personally. But not one mock I’ve seen out of many has the colts trading.

I think it makes too much sense for the Pats to punt the number 3 pick, and the Vikings come up to get Maye. Pats can get a WR, OL, CB or edge. At 11 and 23, a mix of 2 of those is gonna be better than taking Maye, Daniels or JJ IMO

The closer we get to the draft... The more i think the Patriots take Marvin Harrison Jr and throw a monkey wrench into the draft. Kraft needs to sell tickets. And Jocobe to KJ Osborne doesnt sell tickets. But. Marvin Harrison can play, be exiting.. and i think it's quite likely the pats are picking top 5 next year. Now the 2025 QB has a softer landing throwing to a stud WR.

With Arizona having 7 picks in the top 104 I see no reason for them to trade down this year. They are in position to not only take a blue chip prospect at 4 but a position of absolute need. Also Gannon will have to start winning and justify helping Murray. I see them sticking at 4 and moving up in the first before they would trade down from 4.

Cardinals do not need a tackle early. Paris is going to be LT and Jonah is going to be at RT. Jonah had his best year playing at RT last season. I feel like we got cheated out of MHJ, just to throw a wrench in our plans. It makes me sick that we went tackles back to back at #6, if your scenarios happen. We need WR, and then get a devlopmental tackle to learn behind Williams for the future.

I think the Chargers are most likely to trade back given that they now have a multitude of needs they have created by gutting their receiver room. They need a receiver, a tight end, some offensive line help, and some defensive pieces in the secondary wouldn’t hurt to have either. They did add Gus Edwards, but they will likely need a running back on Day 3 as well.

To keep getting ignored like he isn't on the team. AJ, Alford, and Clark are a much better group than our top 3 edge rusher and top 3 WR's right now.
