You win some and you lose some! Luckily we go to enough that it usually isn’t too big of a deal for a session or two to get rained out. I feel bad for the fans who can only make it to one race every year though!

awesome footage again & Thanks for sharing.I think you & I are the only two that shoot complete round sessions from the Grandstands, I always look forward to your videos because I know how difficult it is shooting in the grandstands at a crowded National event. I will be in Pomona this Friday & Saturday so be on the lookout for my footage, I just got a new 2023 MacBook Pro yesterday to help make editing easier...I plan to upgrade to a new Prosumer camcorder next. Did you record any ProStock ?

I appreciate it! Unfortunately footage got corrupted after R1 of top fuel, so, in order to not lose any more of the nitro sessions, I stuck to them. It’s unfortunate because my camera has a backup SD slot that I’ve just been using to roll over footage onto, but now I’m going to be using it as backup so it doesn’t happen again. I’ll be looking forward to your work!

Been To the Vegas races, Denver, Seattle, Pomona, this was my first time to the gators all the way from Alaska, huge crowds and I met some really cool people! Great atmosphere, even with Saturday delays most people patiently waited! I will go back! Awesome!😉👍

It’s one of the higher attended races! Always a lot of fun, especially after a long cold winter.

@@RacersUnited Vegas is the only other track I seen similar crowds, Gainesville was packed! Only disappointed with only 8 alcohol funny cars yet approx 23 alcohol dragsters! This has been a noticeable trend since last few years at national events yet alchohol dragster numbers keep showing up! Any idea why???

It’s very expensive to run the supercharged alcohol, there is no nitro injected afuel alternative (like with the TADs). NHRA has been talking about potentially allowing a-fuel funny cars which would save a ton of money for them, and increase the car counts.

Also I have a suggestion to Nhra National events them bringing back the nostalgia funny cars to Vegas last few years are a big hit, I think they should bring back the top fuel altereds that run at famoso and firebird raceways! Fans love them, plus more national events with pro mods! What you think???

Normally I do, however this time I just stuck with nitro due to fear of losing the rest of my footage. SD card got corrupted after the first round of TF. Going to have a backup SD card running at the same time in the future to prevent that!

Gainesville always has a big crowd. I’m guessing that’s part of the reason they bumped Gainesville to the opening slot in the season.
