The Frontiers are very nice. I looked at these last weekend and they are nice. I will probably say this in every one of your reviews but that naturally aspirated motor is everything!

Looks like Nissan Frontier not cutting corners as you pointed out with the 24 Tacoma which was very disappointing. I loved my 93' Frontier until I went 05 Tacoma. Looks like I'm going back! Great video with plenty of info.

yep i sadly feel that the toyota we knew and loved is no longer the toyota trucks we see currently. I sure do hope they get it together and get back to what they used to stand for. In the meantime, a new frontier is an outstanding truck.

I like the Frontier, especially Pro 4X but Nissan leaving an almost 1 inch gap between the bottom of bumper and skid plat is really dumb. Mud, branches small rocks can get jammed in there easily and make a real mess or cause damage. Make skid plate an inch longer and close off the gap

Agree. Not as bad as the way the skid plates is on the new tacoma though. That's the worse set up I've ever seen.

Wish it had: 2"/1.5" lift Rear locker Skid plates 2 out of three are easy to do DIY aftermarket but that locker is a bit trickier

You can get it with a rear locker and skidplates as the Pro4x version and you can get this hardbody package on the pro4x. Only complaint i have on the nissan is you can not use your rear locker unless you are in 4 low and they dont have very good torque vector transfer LSD. But such a great truck for the money and so perfect for 99% of people.

@@Jason-Samko I knew that you could get the locker with the pro 4X, but I did not realize that you could get the Hardbody package with the pro 4X! That would be the sweet spot. Or it would be awesome if the pro4x simply came with those wheels as an option. It's the wheels that are getting everyone's attention. They are for sale on the aftermarket right now for over $500 a piece. I bet they will sell a lot even at that ridiculous price.

@RedeemedPrepper yes you can. And if the dealer installs the lift and it's one they have approved you will keep your factory warranty.

I sold my Powerwagon and I'm looking at a 2024 Nissan Titan Pro-4X. They are asking 64,000 up here. What's a fair price on them and then add a lift? No trade in. I heard you do not put money down because it will go straight to the dealership.

@RedeemedPrepper I have not checked prices on the titan. Bit I would research it on autotrader, cargurus, cars.com etc. Find all the ones you like and then start negotiating

Remember that truck they tested is a media truck. Meaning it's beat up regularly and passed from reviewer to reviewer. So the broken shock could of been beat up pretty bad and on the verge of blowing already. As for the 4 wheel driver performance the frontier has always been old school simple and is still very capable but you can't drive it like a new one with all the computer controlled stuff. You drive it with 2 foot driving and using brake transfer torque regulation. In my opinion the frontier is a phenomenal truck still.
