Honestly, I don't understand the lopsided steering wheel. I'm not talking about the flat bottom,..but as the wheel is turning, it isn't completely round. How hard is it to make a symmetrical steering wheel?

@@Nucleus281Except this one isn't shiftless/stepless. It has fake gear changes (fixed ratios in the CVT).

And why do they throw fake shifts in? What's the point? The idea of this transmission is to keep it at a specific power band for best efficiency/power. If someone wants a car that has shift points, they can get a care with a traditional transmission. I have a 2014 Civic and greatly enjoy no fake shift points.

@@DRayL_Because customers and motoring journalists complained about the annoying drone when a 4-cylinder engine paired with a CVT sits at a constant 4-6,000rpm when accelerating hard. The fake shifts only make it sound slightly less bad.
