2024 Nissan Titan Most Reliable NEW Half-Ton Truck? 0% for 60 months! Why Not?

The Nissan Titan is one of the most overlooked 1/2 ton trucks on the market. If I had to guess which truck in 2024 would stand the test of time, it would probably be the Titan. GM Sierra, Chevy Silverado, Ford F-150 and Toyota Tundra all have issues that cost a lot of money and are not showing that they can be reliable. Would you buy the new TItan?

Until I see other brands raise their quality and stop having issues with every...single...little thing, and big thing, I think the Titan would be the best long-term buy in a truck right now. If you want something for 100k+, this might be the best option.

Totally in agreement with you. And, for those prices, it's hard not to take a look. The less tech and gimmicky stuff, the less stuff to break down after the thing is out of warranty in the typical Big 3, 3 year warranty period. Happy 4th and keep up the great work!

I wouldnt recomend the TItan as it is a custon Cummins engine that will not be made anymore. I rencently watched a car shop dealing with a 40K miles Titan engine blown out. He was unable to even find an afermarket gasgeckt. Made me reconsider the Titan. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmq7gX5thtl2lc0

Need some help here from folks. 2015 5:48 Sequoia Platinum 110K miles that I LOVE. I want to get a truck to haul some horse stuff so the family doesn’t smell it in the cab. I went for a new Tundra Friday and saw your videos before it was too late. They were going to sell it to me without telling me!! So do I go 2021 Tundra Platinum with 32K miles or do I go 2024 Titan 4X Pro? I drove the Titan and I love it. At 58K, Premium Package & 0%, I feel ifs a steal. They can go lower if I increase the APR which I may do and pay off. My only issue with the Titan is the manual folding side mirrors. I have to fold the drivers side to get into my garage.. I test drove it home and just reached out and folded it in. It’s silly I know… But share thoughts? 2021 Tundra Platinum or 2024 4X Pro?

However I feel like I paid 6k too much, I bought it in August of last year and my loan term started in October, I will have the vehicle paid off by the end of this august so that fact is about to be water under the bridge. But yes I bought it used with 10k miles on it, basically nothing but 33k would be a new pristine midsize, maybe even a new entry level work truck full size in a normal market. June 2023 I sold my reliable old 2002 F150 and bought a new Titan Pro4X. I love it. It was priced much below other brands that were equipped the same. I got a big discount and 0% financing. It has the most comfortable seat I've ever had. I can drive it for hours and my 80 yr old back doesn't hurt when I get out. Yeah, it burns more gasoline than the turbo trucks but I'm retired and don't drive that much. It hasn't had any issues so far. One reason I bought a Nissan was that in early 2014 I bought my wife a new 2013 Infiniti EX37, the smallest crossover SUV with a 3.7 V6 and RWD. She has put 58k miles on it so far and I've spent 0 dollars on repairs. She loves it. It hauls butt too which she loves.

Picked up a '23 Pro 4X in September. Alignment (steering wheel off center), tailgate actuator replacement, transfer case actuator recall, LCD screen/radio head replacement because of permanent imprints after 6 months, so I put a glass screen protector on the new one. Having a good dealership service department is a huge plus. Like it better than my '18 F-150 FX4, but it does have less back seat room and storage as the wheelbase is about 4" shorter. Tows the same, pretty much the same specs at the FX4. Runs smoother and more power on the recommended premium gas. Got 15% off and they gave me 33.5k for my F-150. I was going for 35k for my trade when a shopper that had been in before came in to buy it, so I grabbed the deal. The white paint on black trim looks sharp and is cooler in the Arizona summer. It's too bad they are discontinuing the Titan, I think they should keep making them. They'd probably boost their sales after the Tundra disaster.

One of the sales guys said his LCD display on his Titan died and they replaced it. Alignment they threw it on the rack the next day after delivery and it's beautiful now. The transfer case actuator was a regular non safety recall. Great service department.

Enterprise has awesome deals on them too. I bought a '22 for only about $29k and it had 48k miles. They even shipped it to me. People don't realize that dealers end up getting rentals all of the time as CPO vehicles. Well worth it imo.

Word to the wise: For logical reasons, Nissan (as well as other manufacturers) DOES NOT warranty former rental cars. Former rental cars ARE NOT covered under Nissan warranty in the USA.

@@craigslistseller9354 I just had some work warrantied on it that they did just fine. No different than when I bought a used Titan years ago. You never know what a previous owner has put them through either. Furthermore dealerships (including major dealerships) get rentals all of the time and sell them as Certified Pre-Owned. Enterprise is a major car dealer and only sell their best stuff that is newer and with fewer miles. Never had a problem.

Dumb move for Nissan. Though Id never buy it, theres alot that would based on the V8 (with no AFM). Their V6 Frontier is alive because of that engine only (no 4 cyl turbo). Its definitely not their EV or junk FWD CVT vehicles that will keep them around. A smart move would be to bring back a body on frame pathfinder based on a Frontier.

I traded 2023 tundra limited trd and got Titan pro 4x and it’s built way better and I work in the oil field so off road a lot and the Titan is so much better off road. That tundra off road sounds like the doors and windows was going to fall out. Titan is built to handle off road. Tundra built to stay on smooth high. It’s so nice to start up a v8 everyday. That tundra every morning I back out of the driveway you can tell it had v6 in it. Run me nuts.
