Is this hybrid system better than toyotas?

It's not a full hybrid, it's very strong mild-hybrid system, you can't compare it with Toyota (Toyota has a full hybrid system)

Define "better". If you mean less fuel consumption then no, Toyota is much more efficient. However, this Stellantis electric automatic gearbox is much much better than toyota CVT style like transmition, wich makes its engines scream like its in pain when you press the gas more than a 60 year old grandpa. This hybrid system with the new automatic gearbox is realy realy smooth and nice to use. This hybrid is more for fun, the toyota is more for slow efficient driving. Take your pick wich is better for you i guess.

You have never drive a hybrid before i guess. In my opinion it is more enjoying to drive hybrids as much on electric as possible than flooring it. Try it yourself.
