11.3 @ 125 mph 1/4 mile tima an trap speed on offroad tires!!!! Porsche Power never disappoints. Hits way above what you expect. Not exactly a car I would want for my city life, but really cool none the less.

Not remotely, unless the land you're overing is pretty smooth (think sand, snow, or dirt roads). It's not built for a trek across the Canadian Shield or other such rough terrain. But it could handle the gravel highways of Alaska and northern Canada. Or imagine travelling along ice roads...

How come dealers mark these up to $300, $500K? Why do they treat 911's like Bitcoin?
@SShepherd11 күн бұрын
Because you could flip it for twice the purchase price to any other buy if they didn't require you to purchase 8-10 prior Porsche allocations for the privilege, or pay almost double straight up.
@eekay364611 күн бұрын
@@SShepherd I see. So let me get this straight? You're saying you have to had bought 8+ Porsches brand new, in order to be able to buy it at MSRP?
@SShepherd11 күн бұрын
@@eekay3646 Yes, if you want to buy the more limited/rare model allocations that are booked 2+ years out. You need to have a relationship with your local Porsche dealer. You're also expected to trade your used Porsches in to maintain that relationship, or at a minimum trade the limited ones in and not sell private sale for more money. Bonus points for buying the Macan for the wife or Taycan EV to help clear those off your dealers lot. That's the reason why limited production sports cars hold their value or even appreciate due to that tight supply and high demand when you can't just walk in and buy them. That's not to say all the dealers are the same, if you're willing to wait 1-2 years with no expectation of getting one, a buyer might drop our or an extra allocation could come up and you could get something like a new GTS.

Possibly a byproduct of the crumbling infrastructure in the United States with massive potholes and broken pavement on main roadways. A conventional 911 with low sidewall tires and big wheels cannot handle things but this one can do the job. Few if any owners will take it off road and beat it to death ingesting sand and dirt into the special air filtration system. The Europeans have made rugged versions of ordinary cars before with the Audi All Road and Volvo V70 Cross Country.
