So I've lived with the cyber truck for a week, as it belongs to my brother who dropped it off to me while he goes out of town for the week. I absolutely genuinely don't like it, it's not for me. For one I don't care for the attention that I receive. I really don't like the boring cabin. It can feel airy because there's nothing in it, it just feels empty. But it's nothing to look at, nothing to stand out, its just a plain looking boring space. And when I'm sitting in it I'm ready to get out quickly. The other thing I absolutely dislike, is doing just about everything through that ridiculous sized screen. I understand this is where manufacturer are going but don't get rid of the switch gear. I don't want to look at a giant screen all day controlling just about everything, I feel like I'm at work in the office. I definitely don't want that. And when I'm actually driving, it feels nice that's for sure, despite the fact I don't like the steering wheel. But the vibe feels like I'm in a space pod and although I'm driving I feel like it's being controlled by NASA remotely. I don't have a charger at my house so I would drive it to my brother's house to charge. I'm not a fan of waiting for it to charge, so I would leave my vehicle at his house so while it was charging I could take care of things. The truck has a lot of features no doubt which is cool, I like a lot of things you can do with the app and what not. My brother has been trying to convince me to buy one. He likes the fact that there would be 2 cyber trucks sitting in his driveway when I come to visit😅. It's a hard pass for me, no interest whatsoever.

Well, it just may become a truly exciting vehicle when they fix the panel misalignments, round the sharp edges and make standard the 3-motor beast configuration and black color. And make the control panel more visually appealing than an iPad taped to a dashboard.

The CT will drive you home from the bar on Saturday night. Can your truck do that?

If they’re in a flood, they self ignite and it’s very hard to put out. I’d rather have an old pickup 😉

Ive owned a automotive repair facility for the last 25 years. I just picked up my BEAST 2 weeks ago. Let me be the first to tell you this is the future. I'll personally never own another combustible engine vehicle. This is my 3rd Tesla product. And the speed on this truck is unbelievable.

Just don’t crash it and it catches on fire. No one can break the windows and pull you out. It has happened and it really is a safety design flaw.

Tesla just had their 6th Cybertruck recall
@waynerussell6401Ай бұрын
And two of them were immediately resolved with a software update over the air: the slight increase in size of a warning font and a reduction in time of the rear camera switch on! Hardly recalls... Tesla still has the least warranty claims of any Automaker in US (Warranty Week) and is the cheapest brand to own by a lot at ~$4k a year over 10 years (Consumer Reports).

They say the steering wheel needs some getting used to , but why should any consumer get used to such a dangerous system . A slight steer could become fatal in some situations .

Not for me, maybe when they upgrade the power grid, and make the truck more practical in price, design, and most of all, price

My estimated delivery date is in may... I gotta wait half a year more and I've already waited about 4 years. While I'm glad I finally have a date, I just wish I lived in one of the places Tesla is prioritizing.

Wow. You disregard the dangerous lack of visibility, extraneous noise, awkward (while driving) touch screen, shoddy build quality, over-the-top price, and on and on… because it looks unique and is quick off the starting line?!

No, they did not "disregard" it... they mentioned it, in a balanced dialogue but in the history books, it's still going down as one bad ass product, that was created in the early 21st century.

It will be remembered as the Pinto of the 2020s. Brakes that aren't at all responsive, dangerously slow steering, frunk that severs fingers.... i can keep going. I like EVs but this is garbage. The EU was right to ban them.
