So I've lived with the cyber truck for a week, as it belongs to my brother who dropped it off to me while he goes out of town for the week. I absolutely genuinely don't like it, it's not for me. For one I don't care for the attention that I receive. I really don't like the boring cabin. It can feel airy because there's nothing in it, it just feels empty. But it's nothing to look at, nothing to stand out, its just a plain looking boring space. And when I'm sitting in it I'm ready to get out quickly. The other thing I absolutely dislike, is doing just about everything through that ridiculous sized screen. I understand this is where manufacturer are going but don't get rid of the switch gear. I don't want to look at a giant screen all day controlling just about everything, I feel like I'm at work in the office. I definitely don't want that. And when I'm actually driving, it feels nice that's for sure, despite the fact I don't like the steering wheel. But the vibe feels like I'm in a space pod and although I'm driving I feel like it's being controlled by NASA remotely. I don't have a charger at my house so I would drive it to my brother's house to charge. I'm not a fan of waiting for it to charge, so I would leave my vehicle at his house so while it was charging I could take care of things. The truck has a lot of features no doubt which is cool, I like a lot of things you can do with the app and what not. My brother has been trying to convince me to buy one. He likes the fact that there would be 2 cyber trucks sitting in his driveway when I come to visit😅. It's a hard pass for me, no interest whatsoever.

Looks really good from some angles like head on, other angles it's strange. Love to have one, but wouldn't want the negative attention.

Looks like the Fridays with Frank 125 where it was pulled over for tinted windshield

On the day this video was published, figures came out for U.S. Q3 2024 showing that the Cybertruck outsells EVERY EV NOT MADE BY TESLA. It's the #3 EV behind Tesla's Model Y and Model 3. And that was with the old, high pricing. Now that the base model is down to $80,000 (and $72,500 if you get the government's tax credit), sales are going to explode

I'm not a fan of Tesla, but 2.6 seconds 0-60 is unheard of! Same for the 11.6 second quarter mile. Wonder how the brakes are?

They’re fine for daily use. I have a model s plaid and Tesla is cheap on brakes. Gotta upgrade for more than 3 seconds on track days unfortunately

Addressed none of the litany of issues with the vehicle. Visibility is a major issue with the A pillar swept so far forward and the rear visibility is nil with the rear cover closed, while leaving it open drastically cuts range. It's not a well designed vehicle.

I’ve been watching John since 1990 on MPT when I lived in Fairfax, Virginia as a teen.

I like it more than I want too, but.... the resale value of EVs makes it a scary proposition unless you REALLY, REALLY want one.

Well considering it's the number 1 electric pickup truck in sales past the F150

Is this the same black Cybertruck that got towed in Philly this week? lol

It's rated to tow up to "they payed John to not watch the WhistlinDiesel video" and blah blah blah blah blah 😂
