Porsche updated the third generation Cayenne in a very friendly for enthusiasts’ kind of way. More power and, indeed, a bigger engine for the Cayenne S. Styling tweaks on the other hand are subtle, but this latest Porsche SUV is awash with screens and technology and all the usual rigmarole that we come to expect these days.

Hi There! Really enjoyed your review. I was impressed that the new V8 put such a great smile on your face. I am looking forward to that same experience as I I have a Cayenne S on order and it should be here in a couple of months. Recently got an email from Porsche that the build was complete, now the wait for it to cross the ocean slowly begins. It was the V8 that convinced me to order a new one, so I optioned it out to my personal specifications, air suspension, rear wheel steer and much more. Thank you very much! Yeah, I really enjoyed the V-8 and its a minimal fuel mileage penalty for it. Rear wheel steer is smart. I hope it comes early for you!

Hey Robin. Watching this in the UK. I have a Coupe S E-hybrid on order as my daily (March del) and also planning to get a 911 or Boxster, probably a T spec for the weekend and some Euro road-trips. I really enjoy your reviews and I do like it when you actually express some personal opinions. So many KZbin reviewers just regurgitate facts, which we can all get from the official website. I want to hear your thoughts on design, spec etc - that’s what makes you stand out from the crowd. For example the seats - we know they have adjustable buttons on the side, but it’s all about comfort. Would you spend the extra $1,500 over the standard seat and why? What do you think about the standard trim, or would you spend an extra $1,500 on carbon trim. The 21” - do you like them or would you spend the extra $3,000 and go for the 22” etc etc - Keep up the good work and thanks for your efforts.

Thank you very much! To your questions, I can't answer because I only saw and drove this one example. But educated guess says that the standard seats are probably plenty comfortable to me. And, no, I personally would not get the carbon trim. And, yes, I would stick with the 21s, mainly to have just a bit more tire sidewall to absorb bumps in the road. I hope that helps.
