Hey Glen awesome vid, as always. Question: would you take this over Defender 110? Also a little off topic: Do you know anything about a 2024 Z4 with a manual transmission package? How true is that rumor? Dealer keeps stonewalling me. That will definitely be a collector car.

I haven't driven a Defender 100 yet so I can't comment. Yes, it I believe the manual trans to the Z4 is true. I thought I saw some press releases.

I like both. The BMW's are faster for the money, the Porsche handle better. It depends what you iike

Go to "MotorMouth" (KZbin channel); they review the Macan S vs BMW X-3 40. They stated the Macan handles better and is more fun to drive. I drove both and the real competitor for the Macan S is the BMW X-4. However, the Porsche can be much more money, even more than the X-4M which tops out at $95K, while the Macan S or GTS can easily reach as high as $120K. The only drawback to the Macan is it's smaller inside than the X-3, and the X-4 does have a little more rear seat room vs. the Macan.

Nothing worse than a reviewer that doesn’t know the car … there is a power outlet under the rubber cover in the front cubby hole …. And tell the viewer that many of what is on the car is an option !
