While no body ordered it, I liked the optional drivers side slider door option. My favorite model of the current Promaster? The 118 inch wheelbase shorty with the low roof. Make mine painted red.

What is better Ford Transit or Promaster?

What’s better? That depends on your needs and preferences. Promaster has lower cargo floor and is wider inside and out. It’s only front wheel drive only. Transit is rear wheel drive, has more engine choices, offers a dual rear wheel configuration, and you can get an all wheel drive model. They are also building a battery EV model as well. Transits feature for feature generally cost more than the Promaster. Ford also sells a ton more transits than Ram sells Promasters. Ford also sells passenger versions. Ram only offers a crew version with a single row rear seat. Starting during the pandemic, prices of these vans have gone from about $28,000 to around $43,000 to current prices starting around $40,000 for the shorty low roof to $80,000+ for the high roof extended models.
