I love how you customized the dutch doors in the front part of your journal! I think it’s really clever and I haven’t thought of that myself! Might be something I might try for my future journals. I also have so much vintage washi tapes and you’ve just inspired me on how to use them nicely 💛 so many new ideas I’ve picked up from this journal, love the concept of monthly favorites. Love the overall aesthetic 👏🏻

Beautiful setup! Thoughtful for how you want it to function. I don’t plan on doing a whole notebook for reading but there are a few layouts that I will use. I will check it your other videos as I’m sure they are equally well done. Thanks.

This is so pretty. I’m trying to challenge myself to use an archer and olive journal I received in a sub box that has all navy blue pages. I have plenty of paper bags, so now I am inspired to go see what it looks like layered up.

Aesthetic is good. But the cardstocks seem to be putting a lot of strain on the spine, just from the first folio. You may have to remove some of the latter folios or pages to get your journal to close.

I am not concerned with if it closes or not. Part of the fun in creating a reading journal is seeing how thick it gets by the end of the year. I have always worked this way, but it is my first time using a journal from this store. The journal may hold up and it may not, but it will all be fine either way 😊
