It’s the little things! Thanks for the reminder Will, even though my husband and I are near 70. We were chasing that dream house dream too, for 50 years! And we gave up and we’re just fine! We love all the dogs we’ve had. Our girl is 8, and we know we probably have one more “sibling” to come someday.🐕 As hard as it will be to say goodbye to one, we will be overjoyed to begin again someday. As you well know! Enjoy the forests and the snow and the rain and the rocks and the rills, along with the kids! I enjoy your dogs too!!!

Professional dog breeders compete in shows, where their dogs are judged on all factors important to the breed. They, and their fellow breeders, collaborate on bettering the breed, by researching genealogy, with the intention to create an ideal example, at the same reducing undesirable traits. Backyard breeders, who just pair up two pure breed dogs, can produce good pups, but have also ruined breeds entirely. Two examples in the '60s, being Dalmatians, after the 101 Dalmatians movie, and German Shepherds. Their health, temperament, and reputations took decades to recover. The Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the US, on the AKC website, has lists of approved breeders in your area.

Love your videos but careful, that moment where they were 'playing' with you in the snow wasn't really much playing but a little more tense, hence the shake-off from both of them regularly to calm down the tension.
