Basically defined as when an artist experiences a sudden rise to fame but lacks the resume to back up their success, from names such as Tyla, Ice Spice, 4batz, and Zzz Sam to name a few... it feels like with every new artist we see also comes claims of them being an industry plant.

I am South African, right now in Pretoria. She’s definitely South African. The accent is very difficult for foreigners to imitate, it’s authentic. She’s from here no doubt.This isn’t really my music But I promise you, I’ve never heard of her. She won a Grammy, there’s no way I have a blind spot that big, she just wouldn’t have been a small story,no ways.
