Awesome line up man. Ran a half marathon today in the Metaspeed Sky Paris. Finished in 1:55.25. Think it’s great for maintaining a fast pace but wouldn’t use for a marathon. Looking forward to the new Cielo X1 for the cushion.

Yeah I hear you, I would struggle running a marathon in that at my pace. Great shoe though and I can’t believe what Asics have done in building such a light shoe. The Cielo will be fire for sure!

It was very much needed, and now back with a renewed focus and energy. I’m genuinely hyped about 2025 because I changing direction a little bit, the content I’m known for will remain but adding stuff around the edges to really focus on new runners and representation

Nice video again as usual Aubrey. I made my marathon on in the Sky Paris . But I can fully understand your number 1 shoe. I also made my half pb in the wave rebellion pro 2. I will probably wait a little but I will order the Pro 3 in 2025.

From asia, we are folks with wide feet. Would love to grab DN elite 3 and 2 but they both feel tad too narrow. Had to settle with Fast R2. Puma is underrated here!

Yes. Agree with you. No. 1 is Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 3. Bouncy and light. Very affordable price point. That is why I only have the Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 3. I cannot afford those other carbon-plated super shoes.

I'm a big fan of Puma because their quality is fantastic. You definitely have to find the right shoe for your biomechanics. If you're a 4+ hour Marathon runner, I'd say comfort is king.

I am not sure about that, always consider such statements as personal to someone and that might not be your experience. I know an elite runner that ran well in the racer

@@AubreyRunning yeah but the general consensus is that it's not as aggressive and made for comfort which suits most people because they aren't running a sub 3. It's not a bad thing I just wouldn't call it fast

@@simonf1657 I bought hoka cielo x1 in march 2024, then hoka mach x2 3 months ago. Zoom Fly 6 came out in november, it's a great training shoe for tempo runs even for a heavy runner, but cielo x1 is a race-legal race day shoe, giving much more bounce and with more aggressive rocker. And having hoka mach x2 I already have a super trainer for speed sessions (which is also zoom fly 6), in youtube reviews (runtesters) Nick indicated that mach x2 is faster than nike zoom fly 6, so I don't need to buy nike. You will be happy with zoom fly 6, but cielo x1 is a much better shoe (I tested zoom fly 6, so I have a comparison)
