Aren't Gravel Bikes so popular right now because of their simplicity? Progression isn't bad but somehow it feels like they try to force something like MTB 2.0 . "The next update will be finally a straight bar" might be some annoying saying that you'll find under every other FB post but it isn't totally wrong.

I totally agree. I'm not sound engineer but my equipment is (Genelec 8040, they are pretty flat) . And it is unpleasant to listen that. There are no lows and highs are harsh. But video is good, thank you. :)

My take on gravel bikes are that you can’t do as technical terrain as you can on a mtb. But I rather do long fire roads on a gravel bike.

Give it a try, it's much safer; no traffic to deal with on MTB trails. On gravel roads, there is very little traffic, and the cars you do encounter go very slow/cautiously. You do end up with mor dirt an mud.

@@hansschotterradler3772 That's it right there, I absolutely hate the idea of getting covered in mud and dirt. I also don't wanna ride in wider rubber, I'm pretty partial to 25mm and hated riding 28mm. This argument that wider is more comfortable, idk. If you're set up tubeless, I can go just as low on 25s as 28s, and most road routes I do don't require hairpin turns, so I'm not less confident in my narrower tires. Chalk it up to philosophical differences.
