@Ghost_717 The Bravia 3 is more advanced than the DU8000 in most aspects, unless you go with the 85" DU8000 (it's 120Hz). The closer comparison would be the Bravia 3 to the Q60D. Those are very similar models. Q60D has a picture calibration feature to dial in the colors using a smartphone and a height adjustable pedestal, which some people may find useful if you want your TV to have a lower profile look when it's on an entertainment stand.

I was looking at the du8000 and the du7100 and samsung said the only difference is that the 8000 has built in Alexa. Is this correct and is it worth the almost £100 extra?

@omar_gangyt7965 Either one would work well for casual gaming, but the DU8000 has an extra USB connection, an optical audio out, and a slightly better picture. As far as gaming specific features go, they have the same ones so there is no specific advantage of one over the other.

@paulsouders3489 It seems like they may have incorrect information on that one. According to the Samsung site, and the information our Samsung product trainer sent directly to us, the 85" version is 120Hz. All the other sizes of the DU8000 are 60Hz.

just hook your HDMI cable to the HDMI Arc on the side of this TV for your sound bar. Make sure your cable to the soundbar is OUT.

@GuardKZ We don't have that exact model in the US. It looks like it may only be available in the UAE market. We looked up the specs and it appears the 85" UE85DU8000 is 100Hz. The smaller models in the DU8000 line in that market are all 50Hz.

@emmcee476 The 85 inch is a 120Hz panel. We get our information directly from our Samsung reps, and they also list it as 120Hz on Samsung's website. @@ikeappiah9264 because you have to sit directly in front to get a clearer picture. OLED or QLEd or just regular LED will give you clear vibrant pictures with any different angles you’re watching from. Crystal TV is inferior TV’s.
