I love all the glasswork in this home. Having the mine and farm would also be a huge boon. I'm actually glad this isn't available for XBox, though, as I'd have a tough time choosing between this and Elysium Estate (they do conflict 😢).

If it ever came to Xbox, you could try Mistral Manor in place of Elysium. It's a little further out in the Tundra, closer to where Bluff Manor is, and has an Elysium feel to it, but that basement there is on a whole different level, in my opinion.

This home is phenomenal. I have a house in this spot, Dragons Blood Castle. I don't get to use it myself because I have TKAA kids and the extra kids spawn into the home so I gave it to them. The new CC East Empire Expansion is near the road at the front of the property so I am not sure if this home would affect that. I really love the custom textures and rugs in this house. The custom textures are up there for me, too. I'm also a huge fan of the artwork and statues. It gave me some Mortum Castle vibes, and I LOVE that one. It's obvious the mod author really gave this project a lot of love.

Everyone got hes own taste . But when i saw it first time they added to the game i was totally disappointed,for me it has no place in this game no matter how fantasygame it is. Skyrim is Skyrim and not some Counter Strike or Call of Duty.

Why? There's no reason for them to be any different from a crossbow. Just with different visuals and sounds. Maybe there's a faster projectile speed that might make aiming at moving targets a bit easier but I'd hardly call it game breaking.

It is! I really like the bedroom and pool, too! On the plus side, the mod author has made a lot of patches for popular mods today, like Elysium.

Oh man,are you teasing me? When you started to rotate the camera to make a place overwiev from above you cant imagine how my face changed. The exact same spot were i got the Whiterun Safehouse. Got kinda pi**ed but on the otherhand im too lazy to remove and replace it with this. Im happy im slowly finishing up the stories. I dont now what they done with the new Vortex update,but today for the second time totally messed up all my plugins. Corrupted one of my savefiles then turned off all plugins so i had to manually reapply 560 plugins.1 cute character is gone but luckyli saved the rest 35 characters. So i just want to play the game and not risking another loadlist break. From now on i just disconnect the internet everytime i start Vortex.

Amazing property. Definitely would conflict with JK Whiterun Exterior. Not a huge fan of the Mom & Dad stuff (Might be awkward explaining my Red Demon Orc to Dad.). Stunning interior, if a bit out of place. For now, I think I'll stick with Dues Mons Castle. But if I ever move... Just found your channel, excellent work. (Only just returned to PC Skyrim since, basically release) I look forward to checking out your previous videos.

Yes.. it is nice but if it will conflict with jks ourskirts or any whiterun exopansion, i will to pass due the fact the the gain is more of loss unless the mod author makes patches to fix conflicts.

I'm actually a fan of the inside. I REALLY like all of the paintings, statues, and textures. Maybe you could just get that bedroll mod, where you can cast one on the ground with a spell and sleep under one of those ivy-clad outdoor dining areas. That way, you could still enjoy the outdoors and have a place to store tons of followers, kids, and men-at-arms!

Maybe so! Whiterun's outskirts seems to attract home mods and city extension mods, but you could always try it as a change of pace on a future playthrough. Variety is the spice of life!

What is that blue light near White Run area that goes straight up to the sky?

It's a mod called Skyshards. There are 108 skyshards located on the map. Once you find and activate your first one, it launches a quest in your log to find the other skyshards within that hold. They will give you hints as to other locations, which help if you know the base game well. For every 3 skyshards you find, you earn a perk point! I also added a mod that adds an enb effect to them, which looks especially awesome! Check it out, if you haven't.

Fellburg is the mod that made me switch from Xbox to PC and learn how to mod, which eventually led me to learning that I might want to start a KZbin channel, so it's certainly inspirational. The good thing is they don't conflict, so you could use this with Fellburg and Hjertesten Hall or Blackthorn and add bustling settlements all over the map.

The mod author said it was her first mod and took almost a year to make, but she said she was learning as she went and that if she made another, it might take less time. She said she is considering adding more family members and expanding on this home/settlement before making another new home.

I used the mod "Dragon Claws Auto-Unlock", and that opened it. It's also handy because you don't have to look at the claw and spin it yourself anymore. The mod spins it for you. But yes, that's what I used.

Not in the home itself but they do live in the homes right outside of your home. You can also use My Home Is Your Home to recruit people to live with you.

There is nothing that pisses me off more in Skyrim than forced quests. There is zero chance I will ever use a mod that forces a quest down my throat, rather than simply being there and allowing me to get to it in my own time.

I actually love forced quests to earn home mods. :D Or at least pay for them. But that could be just me. I like it because it makes it more believable to me than just wandering into a strange house that I just decide I'm taking over. I like a good backstory.
