SLS has become extremely boring. I use to love to watch all the stops but honestly ever since these Asian and Chinese skater have become a major part of the contest it’s just not worth watching. They don’t have style or a sense of American culture which is where skateboarding started. I’m not being racist either, it’s just facts they all skate like robots they skate in a monotoned manner. Theirs no pazazzz to them yuto is borderline cool he’s about a syllable away from being considered weird and lame. If you notice he doesn’t talk and it’s because if he was to open his mouth you would immediately say wow this kids lame asf has he ever even been laid? The style of a skateboarder is suppose to be carefree rough and tough gives no fucks has a ton of style not just in the way he skates but how he moves and creates motion for himself. Bam, Ryan Shecks, Tyshawn, they are all favored so much because they have that careless cool factor they don’t even have to try to be cool. The Asians have to TRY.

People like yuto and shora are pushing the envelope of what is possible in skateboarding, just like people in years past have done. If you can't appreciate that, then you got some screws loose. Also, unless you are able to do the tricks they are pulling, and in a competition setting with pressure on you, what room do you even have to talk here? I would put money that you can't even skate, or if you can, and few flatground tricks are about the scope of your ability.
