Glad you made it safely to Strongsville,John & thanks for your initial recap. The Banks and Rose you picked up look to be in nice condition and registration and you were able to save a little on money. I agree with you if you cannot find other cards you need opting for EBay or the National would be best choices. Stay safe and well.

I really like the 75 rose, other than his 72, I don’t have any of his other cards from the 70s just 80s tops and Donruss. as for the banks, I don’t think I have that 66 though I do have some of his other cards from 59 and from the 60s, so I have a lower priority players run of his to eventually add that card to. Great pick ups so far and looking forward to your further content on the show.

I heard once that they were not allowed to bring modern cards. Is that true? Enjoy the show John. I have a box of 1978 cards that I opened myself from packs. Maybe I could help?

That's what I was told, although there were a couple of display cases with some 80s to modern cards. But they might have also had a display case of vintage cards too. Here's my checklist of cards I'm missing for my 78 set. How far are you from in the video to i Cincy in terms of miles? nice 1975 Pete Rose , nice 1966 Ernie Banks , some questions when you say some modern cards were there cards from the 90's , 2000's or cards from the 80's like Ozzie Smith, Cal Ripken , Will clark ect which Modern did you mean? of people wearing sports teams outfits doesn't have to be jerseys but including jerseys what team outfits did you see people wearing the most? Did you see anybody wearing a Johnny Bench outfit ? did you see your new friends from Southern Fried cards?

It was about 230 miles away from Cincinnati. I think there were only a couple of display cases of cards from the 80s and maybe one or two that had cards from the 90s to recent cards. But they did not have a large number. Honestly, I don't think I saw too many people wearing sports jerseys. I really didn't pay any attention to what people were wearing. No, I didn't see them.
