I am a tall guy and I felt squished with the top up, the car was really skittish in heavy rain and not a good car for a road trip for two people due to lack of luggage space (the GF always overpacks!). The BRZ fixes all of that (and I can drive it more often and feel comfortable on a longer trip. Plus for me at least the BRZ is nine and a half tenths (vs the Mazda) on the fun-to-drive scale. I miss the convertible, but I have another convertible so I still have top-down fun when the sun and temperature send me the invitation. Long live RWD, manual, normally aspirated sports cars. Its funny that this outsold the GR86 in Canada, correct me if I'm wrong but here in the States it is the opposite 🤷

Subaru also sold more because Toyota was marking them up. I could walk into a Subaru dealership and get one at MSRP which I did!

Nah, I think they’ve said the RTV isn’t enough to cause damage. I don’t trust that personally but that’s what they’ve said.
