I bought this car in the Wilderness trim recently and I think it’s a great car. I can still get good mileage with that car because it’s not just what you drive, but how you drive it. Just remember to keep your eye on the MPG gauge in the middle of the instrument panel. The paddle shifters take some getting used to because under 55 mph it has 6 gear settings, and above 55 you have 8, which means you have to downshift twice when you’re going up an incline instead of just once, like you do with a 5-speed manual transmission. I’ve always loved Subaru and it’s an excellent choice if you’re a first time buyer like I was.
