I’m…, we won’t do ages. Just know I’ve owned a lot of vehicle of different classes. I absolutely LOVE my 2024 wilderness. Had mine since April and I wouldn’t trade this vehicle for anything! I don’t use the back seats - they stay folded down. I have an XL doggie mattress from Big Barker (they love it) and that takes up most of that back space. Toss in my other doggie stuff and that’s that. This is the perfect vehicle. Makes going on doggie trips fun and easy.

Hey Tyson, thanks for another great video. Do you think the Wilderness seats are more comfortable than the Limited or Premium trim? Is the difference noticeable or subtle. Cheers.

Thanks for watching! I do find the Wilderness seats more comfortable than the Limited/Premier trims. The caveat to that is that the 2025 Forester seats are redesigned and are more comfortable than the outgoing 2024 seats, in my opinion, so when they eventually upgrade the seats in the Wilderness, I think that they'll be more comfortable than the Limited/Premier seats. Comfort is totally subjective, though, so YMMV.

Is there a cleaner that can make the leather steering wheel look new again

Is the steering wheel dirty, or weathered from use? I would say to clean it with something non-abrasive and then use leather conditioner to help maintain it.

I use a product called colourlock from Germany. The kit has a leather cleaner and treatment. Has worked very well on the truck and van leather. The mild cleaner has been all I needed so far.

I unfortunately don't have a 2023 Forester on the lot to do a comparison with at this point.

Basically the 2024 has a plastic front skid plate of sorts..not aluminum like the 2023 and no rear differential plate …I was told that the reason there gone is they were manufactured in Russia ..and since the war with Ukraine Subaru has stopped dealing with Russia … They may be a few still with a skid plate kit …but it’s really the luck of the draw as getting them….oh and btw…the CD player is MIA as well now

Did they get rid of the aluminum gas and brake pedals too? The 22 and 23 had them.

Interesting side note as to why Subaru got rid of the aluminum pedals ….because this is a wilderness model testing showed that those pedal were slippery compared to a regular pedal set …The dealer offered to change mine but I declined the offer as I’m going to be getting into this vehicle with snow and mud on my shoes ..ordinary peals are just fine

Hey where in canada is there no skid plates?! I saw a 2024 with front skid plate before singing the papers and was never told it might not have one! In Alberta and that is a major concern. Huge part of why I chose this trim.

Can you get a wilderness edition without the black sticker on the hood? looking at the forester wilderness but not a fan of the black hood

You can not order it without it. It is a sticker/decal, so you could get it removed. There are lots of people online that have done just that.
