I can't understand why they aren't particularly popular. Over here in the UK Suzuki stopped importing the V Strom 250 as sales were non existent (twin pot model) and they haven't imported the single pot model either and yet small capacity machines over here are selling like hot cakes. Even Honda recognise this and we'll be getting the GB 350 at the start of 2025. People are beginning to realise that small capacity bikes make a lot of sense and you don't need large adventure bikes to have fun. Back in 2014 I had a GW250 Inazuma and loved it, a very underrated bike but never sold in great numbers. Anyway ignore all the critics who comment on how you chop and change your bikes, if you can afford it just do it. None of us know what's round the corner or how long we are going to be on this planet so enjoy yourself whilst we are here. Keep up the good work, always enjoy your vlogs. All the best mate.🙂👍

true one never knows what's up ahead so might as well make the most of it while ya can. never heard of that bike but the gb350 with the optional 13t front sprocket is a worthwhile ride. not so in stock form as it runs out of puff pretty easily like on the first hill. add the sprocket and it helps quite a bit. raining her on and off for a few days i think. when that clears i can get out again and make another clip. all the best!

Warro, I was in Australia for two weeks to finalise some business. It was eleven years that I was not there and I was taken aback with the price of living in OZ. It's getting expensive down under, also the roads outside Melbourne were shockingly bad. I went over Ballarat, Hamilton to Portland, between the first two the roads was to be kind not good. I rented a Toyota Camry hybrid, so had some decent suspension but even than, wow. I missed some of your video's so need to do some catching up, strange that the 2024 Suzuki VStrom 250 SX is not loved. Your right for his price it's a damn good bike and being a Suzuki there will be nothing wrong with it.
@ridewithwarro8 күн бұрын
yeah i don't know why but suzuki hasn't got the following of team red...lol same back in the '70's it was more honda and kawasaki and the others followed. although all of the brands had their one good bike to fall back on so lucky there. cost of living and everthing else shot up from covid. i think they put up the prices and 5 years later forgot to lower them...lol dogs/cars/watches etc all shot up in value plus the houses. even where i live go back 3 years the cheapest house here went for $400k. they sold quite a few and 3 years later those houses are now worth $300k imagine losing $100k in 3 years on a dream house thinking it was going to increase in price. saying that ive lost $150k buying bikes for this silly youtube channel so i shouldn't talk ...lol only 73 bikes too...lol

@@ridewithwarro Another good video! My only issues with these LAMS are where they are assembled. I've looked closely at any of the big 4 Jap's cheaper range and the quality control is nothing like their Made in Japan units. These are very inexpensive for a reason and it isn't just the lower labour rates of India or Thailand that is the explanation. One look at the wiring looms and under the tanks, plastics, seat etc and these fall down to KTM or Aprilia or Ducati standards. IE: Rubbish.

They’re $6500 ride away with 12mths rego atm Warro, I have found that people don’t really value the accessories on a second hand bike much, the last bike I had was covered in Hepco&Becker racks and bars with panniers and it didn’t increase the value by anything like they cost to buy……
@ridewithwarro7 күн бұрын
yeah i know what you mean there. since i rode the bike i no longer care about the selling side as i think i can get a few enjoyable rides out of it. my main issue is more like riding the new 5 bikes i have...lol actually i was quite impressed with the latest 150 klm run. pity really as it has sat for months doing absolutely nothing till i decided to try it out. on another note if i was real serious about selling i would just pull all the accessories ( ive done that before) let the new buyer pay the price. thankfully its now set up for dirt so i might as well give it a run. all the best!

An issue with resale is Suzuki dropped the bike back to 6.5 .... then offered free top box again.... then dropped it to $6300 for a black friday sale.... and that includes a years rego. So it really drops the price second hand. I considered selling mine but I really like it. wish it had 5hp more but other than that its just about the perfect bike.
@ridewithwarro8 күн бұрын
yeah i think now its back at $6790. it really is a pretty good value bike compared to say a honda gb350 -which i have...lol once your riding a 20 hp bike and get on the vstrom 250 sx its easy to acknowledge the extra 7hp on tap. you know i had the bad vibrating honda crf300l - did about 300 klm on that terror and it arrived new with a badly buckled front wheel. i think this is a better bike and it's $3500 cheaper
@Simon-RucknRideAUD7 күн бұрын
I think the biggest issue is they just keep coming out with more stuff, at one point I was looking at this and the Kawasaki KLX230S, well they have revamped that in 2024, and then Royal Enfield Just released the 650 Bear at $11K just a bit more expensive then the New Suzuki DRZ4S so while the little goers are totally fine, poeople would pay a little more and get a 400-650 twin. Its totally confusing for me cause you turn around twice and a new model is out.
@ridewithwarro7 күн бұрын
its pretty hard to keep up to what's coming out that's for sure. i knocked back the bear on the hard suspension. watched a couple of reviews and that done that...lol at least this vstrom rides the bumps ok had the klx230 but not sure on what the upgrades are on the s version. in fact didn't know there was one. the 230 was a pretty nice riding bike really i think that new drz 400 will get quite a few sales too. so maybe better times ahead

If they sold those in EU, i'd gladly buy one... My 650 vstrom is nearly 20 y old, and with 105000 km on the clocks. Not being any younger, one smaller capacity like the 250 sx would fit really nice.

bike came back fine...lol been riding it daily since then and it really runs pretty good for what it is. cheap good value bike which does all it has too; about 35 years back i sold a mgb sports car. guy arrived with this partner and asked could he take it for a good run. sure i said off he went and 3 hours later its a no show and i thought...ive lost that car....lol closing in the the 4 hour mark i was getting to the point where i thought they had stole it. mind you this car looked pretty good compared to their ride. suddenly a horn blasted the air and they were back out the front again. first words i said was...you certainly took your time. he replied it was low on petrol and had to put some in it. so my partner and i decided to take it for a longer drive his test drive in the car was 4 hours and it ran 250 klm. on a positive note they did buy it but that was the closest i've been to an actual test drive stolen car...lol. must have been that long as i didn't have a mobile and neither did any-one i know...lol those days you got the face to face talk. these days you get the face to a texter...lol

i actually had one back in 2017 i think. here's the clip kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3awiayohJmCkLs it didn't have abs and i guess that's why they are no longer sold here but a very well put together bike. a bit vibey above the 60 mph mark. not as tall to get on as this suzuki. i think roughly 800 or 810mm but it's nice and light at say roughly 130 kgs overall a really good quality bike and even when new they were pretty expensive to buy compared to other 250cc machines
