The Advanced ESP with discovery's platform and front suspension cannot help the fact that it is a 1.8 Tonne 7 Seater which is FWD, its just a crossover. Though asking for 4x4 maybe too much, but atleast RWD or AWD could have been offered. Still, Tata is really improving and thats good to see👍

I own a xuv 700 diesel i feel that my car NVH level is much more good than safari and harrier..How much features you want to give but xuv 700 will beat you for its 450nm torque and 185bhp..And for petrol 200bhp..Those who are saying that its an competition for xuv 700 they are right but xuv 700 has given almost every features in 2021..Clear view led lamps, 360 parking ,adas, 12 speaker , alexa and many more..So choice and taste is always go with customer but tata has done a very good job in interior hats off tata...But still i will say engine refinement and Bhp and torque should be increased

I don't understand why tata bothered to make the harrier if they were going to make the safari anyway. They should have rather invested the resources of harrier to build a 4wd or awd system and launch it with 5 or 7 seat option. By the way Faisal I’m just letting you know I have Safari Automatic 2021 Variant. XZA+ I drove it in the Vadodara floods my car was submerged uptill 3 feets and the whole bonnet was under water And the car’s window was touching water Still the car didn’t stop was easy driving for 1-1.5 kms And didn’t have any other issue in the car except it gear oil getting mixed with water Which still didn’t stop the car and just needed gear oil flushing The features didn’t had any problems I think this car is very capable and Tata has done a commendable job

Safari used to be that homegrown thing that the army drove around in deserts and snow capped mountains. Raw off-roading capabilities and real stance. Now it's an oversized hatchback with a higher ground clearance. Can't wait for the Jim Corbett Kaziranga National Park edition next year though 🫣

Not everyone needs a 4x4 Faisal. It drives well, feels planted on the road. Yes, the OG Storme can’t be the compared with this one. But, with 23kms done on the ‘22 variant, I can say that it is great on road, specially on the long routes. Am sure, new electronic power steering will make it even more on local drives. It has its niggles, which am sure is with most other cars.

I think xuv 700 still has an edge over it as far as price is concerned..ok prices are revealed..Harrier base model is 1.80L and Safari base model is 2.50L more costly than XUV mx petrol model...no one can beat XUV 700 with VFM variation
