Both are great option but I would suggest c855k because it comes with much brighter panel and much more premium features.

It has ITVX now and BBC iPlayer licence is due to start in September.

@@APTechs Good news if true. Yes, ITVX is indeed supported now, and you say iPlayer is on the way (You can actually unofficially get it working but it is buggy.) I noticed Channel 4 doesn't work because it requires Freeview Play which doesn't work. Does it boil down to some licencing nonsense? TCL has to pay them for compatibility?

No it’s not. QM8 is a budget version of C855 but has similar features with less power.
