Hey everyone! Important correction: Samsung is not ditching Tizen as I claimed in this video. They are, however, putting their One UI over Tizen. So it will look and feel different, it won’t look like Tizen has looked, but the same OS will be running underneath.

I totally don't understand Samsung's current pricing between the 85" at $2300, then the massive jump to $10,000 for the 98" model... They don't have a monopoly on the 98-100" market, and there's quite a few options significantly under that price that should have been closer to $6000-7500 for anyone to even consider it that's not building out a cost is no object Theater room.

@ the manual requires the tv to be on. They give you a Pictionary instruction sheet to install the stand on several different sizes of tv and I missed two screws that interlock the 2 piece base. That being said I just redid the stand and it is a little bit better, but you need to keep a grip on the screen as you clean it. No where as rigid as the 2 legs that interlock and have two heights that is on my 85” Samsung QLED 60B. I do not like this 1 piece center stand. I almost got the Sony until I realized it was $1,500.00 more.
@xpusostomos3 ай бұрын
@@tomreidy1237 ok, I can't speak for the Samsung stand, but LG tends to put a single centre stand on the high end models which I prefer because with the legs on the ends there's always the possibility they are close to the edge of your furniture and some idiot knocks it over the edge, whereas that can't happen with a centre stand. Haven't noticed any issue cleaning it though presumably isn't as stable against forces in that way.

@@xpusostomos It gives you the exact count in the service menu. The 43" model has about 350, the 65" model has around 750 so the 98" will have significantly more and accordingly have a much better dimming accuracy due to more zones to pixel density. Basically a 65 inch curve qled 4k mini led tv version of the odyssey neo g8 with 4,000 nits instead of the 2,000 nits like the gaming monitor. I want the 4,000 nits because there are movies that are mastered with 4,000 nits with hdr from the 4k discs.
