Throttle House just raved about the steering. It just shows how subjective some of these tests can be and how personal tastes dictate how much youll enjoy this car. Great review thank you!

It’s why taking everything a KZbinr says to be fact isn’t a great idea. They’re not journalists or experts in the field so while their reviews are nice to watch, it’s not objective.

I generally don’t trust what more theatrical reviewers (TH, The Grand Tour, Chris Harris’s Top Gear persona, etc.) say. I love TH as entertainment but I would trust reviewers like Zygrene (and Matt Farah sometimes) since the opinion is usually on the spot and not meant to cater to everyone’s feelings.

I have the 24M3P there is no communication to the wheel. The turn in though is very quick the front goes directly when you point it (if you are not going to fast and getting understeer) makes my MX5 turn in feel slow in the turn in and I have coils, A052s and "track alignment" on my MX5
@andyhughes1776

@@Accost2uIt IS objectively true that most people do NOT like the blinker buttons on the steering wheel. This is simply because the blinker stick has been around for decades if not a century now. This reminds me of Ford placing a horn button on the stick of the Ford Escort back in the 1980's instead of in the middle of the steering wheel. There were criticisms then too not only because people were not used to it but because the only way you can push that horn was on your left finger. But with a horn in the middle of the steering wheel, you can push it with any finger both hands - heck, you can even push it with your elbow or even your forehead! In this case, people are just used to the blinker stick and will automatically reach for it without thinking.

Test drove one months back and it was my first EV experience, and I REALLY enjoyed it. Would have a hard time justifying buying anything else with that $7500 rebate bringing the MSRP to like $48,000 for a 10 second car :O I was surprised the turn signals and lack of a HUD didn't bother me at all. The turn signals took about 5 minutes to get used to and its kind of like using a Playstation Gamepad or something. The Speedo just off to the right of the wheel on the screen is still in your field of view too so it takes just as much of a glance to focus on as looking where a normal speedo would be. Putting the mirror, steering wheel and vent controls in the screen is incredibly annoying though. Plus the glass roof I absolutely hate because of the heat here in Norcal. What Tesla really needs to do is take the best stuff from the M3P, lop off two doors and the back seats to cut weight, and use just the rear motor to make a 3500lbs performance EV coupe/sports car. I'd buy that in a hearbeat.

Excellent review! As an enthusiast, I wouldn't want this as my weekend toy, but would be an amazing daily driver. Since Tesla's depreciate like no other, I'd consider a used one if I didn't already own and love my Tesla S Plaid. BTW, Telsa's accelerate faster with a warm battery and a higher state of charge. Precondition battery as if you're preparing to go to a Supercharging station to affectively warm the battery. On the Dragy leaderboards people are running 124-125 mph in the 1/4 in optimal conditions and warm battery.

Considering the price (specially in the US) its a really great daily. I have the version with LG pack = not nearly as quick as the US version with Panasonic pack over 60mph. Have my ND2 for the analog experience but it feels like snail when jumping between the two 😂 Hate not having the stalks, thinking of installing aftermarket ones. Have solved no HUD/dash in front with a dongle thats connected to the car and have my phone connected to it and it shows the current speed and a bunch of other stuff and one can control a bunch of stuff as well. Have it mounted in front of me(as low as possible) on the windshield with a quad lock mount. However should not have to this kind of stuff....

How much does the suspension and body control feel differ from the LR highland. If at all?
@techevo
@techevo Ай бұрын
I test drove both the LR and M3P highland back to back for this exact reason, and I found the LR way, way softer, to a point that it felt too soft over large undulations. If you know the Koni FSD dampers from the aftermarket, you know that this is a problem with them, in certain situations the rebound damping feels way too soft. The Performance damping felt much, much better, but still comfortable in both modes, and without that feeling of uncontrolled wheel movement over large bumps that the LR has.

The lack of physical controls for everything is a dealbreaker not to mention the horrible CEO who I'd never want to support.
