Definitely interested in the Satisfy offering. But in traditional stuff I heard TNF is updating the Vectiv stuff, particularly interested in an update to the Infinite. Norda 005, LaSportiva Prodigio Pro, Arc'Teryx. Love to see a waistbelt roundup too. Ski brand shoes. Rossi and Tecnica. I know Tecnica is pretty specifically ignoring the US market, but they have been in and out of running for a long time with "interesting" offerings. Lowa and Mammut too. Lastly CP MERCH!!!

Also need to know if Nike and Adidas will end their "Direct to Consumer" bias and actually let some independent stores carry a decent amount of their product. Be nice to see more than just a Pegasus and some Vaporflys on the wall; and really want to try on some Terrex shoes.

I'm not sure if they'll provide that kind of information to me, but I'll bring it up if the timing is right. I have heard rumors of Terrex maybe getting into some running stores independent of Adidas, which would definitely help lower the barrier to entry to trying on some of their trail shoes

I'd be curious about any new cooling merch/ideas. Not like a new and improved fabric but ways to stay cool when out doing a solo run without aid stations and crews every 10km; or even less developed races that can't support ice for everyone at every aid station. Also, future video idea: battle of the swiss army knives! Let's be honest, most people are only going to have one pair of trail shoes, especially if they are just starting out. Ask the brands about their best swiss army knife, pick some of the contenders and do a shoe-down! Similar to your best super trail shoe video.

RAB is another brand that is in the trail running space and makes fantastic gear, but doesn't seem to market much in the US. I'd like to hear more about them. Also, will Nnormal ever make a plated shoe? Pumped for some CP merch!

Maybe TNF will finally admit their mistake and get rid of those wings on the Vectic Pro. I love the shoe but after a few Km's I can feel that wing digging in. I cut them out of my pair but only half fixed the problem, still cutting into my left foot. I would re-invest in another pair if they got rid of it. Love this shoe review format by the way. 🇨🇦

I am planning on running the Bandera 50km. Did it last year it hoka speedgoat 5’s. Looking for something I can train and race in. What are the recommendations?

With so many not enjoying the firmness of the Speedgoat 6, the next best option from Hoka is the Mafate Speed 4. Outside of Nike, many have been wearing the Merrell Agility Peak 5 and Nike Zegama 2 as suitable Speedgoat replacements. If the SG5 worked for you and you're able to find another pair of those, that's definitely a reliable option for you 👍

I have blown my shoe budget for 2024, but 2025 is just around the corner. Are the big three going to have anything new to offer in their top end/super race shoe? Agravic 2? probably nothing new in Tecton world, that shoe just came out. An ultrafly 2? I am interested in four things: 1) ultrafly 2 release and if they will put out any other widths, 2) challenger 8 oddly enough (a road to trail would be nice to own) 3) will brooks come out with a trail race super shoe 4) even though I see your 7s looking pretty nice and new bottom right on the shoe wall, I would like to see the caldera 8 and what they've changed on the upper. Mainly I hope you both have a great time!😁

My running theory is that because HOKA pays Karl Meltzer a commission (or royalty) for "Speedgoat" products they either a) argued over whether the EVO Speedgoat qualified or b) they don't want to invest R&D into a shoe with a commission agreement.
