2024 The Ways Im Going

After another winters work in Wisconsin, I stretch the legs for a couple days along the Ice Age Trail and share my plans for this year’s hiking. Things are moving very fast now, and by the end of the week I’ll be on my way. This year begins with my brother Sundance and I heading overseas to explore the Mourne Mountains and the Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland. Then it’s off to Scotland to hike the Great Glen Way together. After that Sundance will return to the states and I will continue to hike more Scottish trails through the month of June. The West Highland Way and the John Muir Way are both on my list of hikes to do and whatever else I can explore along the way. Early in July I will head back to the states and go from there.

LOL yes, it's packed. Checking the weather app is looks to be a bit damp, cool & windy. Very excited nonetheless!

I did the WHW in 3.5days & you’re far more accomplished hiker than me...make sure you take-in Glencoe especially. When back at Fort William, you can double back to Glen Nevis campsite for the night which leaves you situated perfectly for going up The Ben. You might want to look at the Cape Wrath Trail...starts in Fort William too & I loved it...! My 1 piece advice...bring headnet & midge spray. Those b’stards are pure evil at the best of times...& the Scottish one’s are on another level altogether...!! .Wish.

Hey Huck! It's Puff from last year on the PCT! Awesome to see what you're up to this summer. I'm looking forward to following along cause I know nothing about Ireland or Scotland. Yaaay, A Huck video 😊❤ Hadn’t even watched it I was smiling. But now I have I’m very excited for you and Sundance to come to the UK to Hike and have a different hiking experience. I am so thrilled to have your smiling face back in the hiking world. Scotland is my favorite place. FYI - I hiked the West Highland Way and continued up the Great Glen to Inverness, then turned around and hiked back to Glasgow. 2 years ago I did the John Muir Way starting in Dunbar to Helensburg and back to Dunbar. So jealous of you getting to to these adventures, and I look forward to following every vlog you post! Cheers from Wisconsin.

Hey Huck, I'm so excited for you to come to my necknof the woods. Followed your hike on the PCT. You will love Scotland and Ireland. I have done the West Highland Way and the Great Glen Way. Had a blast. Only thing to bug you 😂 will be the "midgies" they are tiny but pack a punch and bite. Rain and wind gear needed and remember to try the haggis! If I knew when you would be near Dunbar as that's close to where I stay, I would be delighted to offer some 'trail magic' . You can get intouch and I look forward to catching more of your adventures.

Hiya happy Highland Hobbit. I am currently in Edinburgh area, and will be hiking out tomorrow morning towards north berwick along the JMW. The day after tomorrow I should arrive in Dunbar by the evening. I plan to stay in Dunbar for at least a day to explore the town, and it would be wonderful to run into you.
