Lindstrom would be such a perfect fit for Montreal ! I would love Catton as well, but Montreal already has several forwards on the smaller side. I don't think they need another defenseman either.

I was really impressed with Parekh's breakout pass at the Hlinka-Gretzky tournament, he would hold the puck for a bit then hit some guy you didn't even see way up the ice with a great pass. Sam Dickenson sounds good for the Oilers, after some of their picks they've had in the last several years a guy that is smart would be a good fit. If the Oilers could add a smart solid top 4 D-man right now that would be a huge help.

I always question that thought process. The Oilers do need help defensively, but whoever gets taken in this draft, particularly if he's a defender, will likely be at least 2-3 years out. If they're targeting a young defenseman, they'd be better off packaging the pick for an already drafted player rather than hoping whoever they take will help them retain McDavid/Draisaitl. If they're using the pick I'd argue they should take best player available unless there are players who are very close in skill at which point I would go more towards need.

Flyers need a top-pairing defenseman like Sam Dickinson! But, they probably won’t be drafting that high.

Mn needs a big top pairing dman or a big 1st/2nd line center. Our d prospects are decent but most are 6ft tall.
