2024 Topps F1 Chrome - Blaster Box, Qualifying Lap, and Hobby Box opening and review

I felt the same. Opened 4 packs of 8 today and more than half of them were F2 and F3. Not even well- known drivers either…

@@ericasan yeah that seems to be the common theme. Last year each driver had like 3 portrait photos and 2 car photos, which I’d prefer over F3 drivers that 99% will never be a name in F1

those scratchmarks are i belive a part of design, cause when i opened my packs, few of them matched 1 by 1 on same 1954 refractors placing wise and others who also have opened them have these

@@markusskristofers962 that is good to know. You never know with Topps if it’s quality control issues or what. Still probably my favorite card in this years set!

Thank you! Was pretty sad to just get the one car card of Bottas from all these packs. He's definitely my favorite drive to collect. I really hope he finds a spot next season!

@ I joined one PYD (Pick your driver) and got no numbered card either. I’m waiting for Paddock Pass, Finest and Eccelenzza 👌🏼 Let’s see. Maybe one of those Rookies will struggle and Bottas could replace them or Cadillac 2026 could be an option. The question is „What’s next?“ 🤓

@@porridgeboss I'm with you on that! The Stake car was so bad it just wasn't fair for him this year. I think he still could be the #2 at a top team, we just didn't get to see much from with the car he was dealing with. You'll have to let me know if you get any big Bottas hits!

Honestly that auto is a good hit . I would be happy if I got that one . Hadjar will be in f1 one day

@@SneakyGhosty I guess it is better than no auto, which they obviously aren’t in every box, but still an unnumbered F2 driver auto and lowest numbered card to /75 is rough.

@@hessmcnastyyeah you are correct . It’s not the card any of us are chasing but I guess of all the f2 drivers you could have got hadjar is not the worse . I’m going to get a box soon . Hopefully I have better luck 👍

It was a lucky box from that point - I think I've heard autos fall in every other box or so? And Hadjar likely being in F1 soon is nice. But the whole redbull academy and who makes it to F1 seems like a crap shoot haha.

@@hessmcnasty yes. in every case the pile of boxes on the left hold auto's, the pile on the right don't. So every Left box holds an auto but more than half of those are non-f1.

Blaster boxes don't hold numbered parallels. there is no chance to hit one.
