I have a 22 Camry hybrid, European top trim level version and oh boy, is it different from the American Camrys. Not bragging or mocking - no such intentions at all. The European "Executive VIP" (top trim level) is possibly closer to a high trim level Avalon than anything else.

Only when the light sensor senses it is dark out. During the day, the tail lights are not on. So during daytime rain, fog, snow, I suggest manually turning on all lights.

Not on the individual side but overall yes it should be in the settings or it shall dim with the interior button light dimmer feature.

The head light will turn ON automatically when the wipers are used during the rain , the head light selector should be on AUTO position.

My 2024 XSE V6 has ambient lighting on the driver's and passenger side. The opening for the ambient lighting is just above the door handles.
