I like the Corolla GRs except for the glass roof. Previously there were complaints from other countries about glass breakages for glass roofs due to extreme heat or a fruit falling from a random tree.

Car Care Nut youtube channel also raised an issue with the sun roof rubber seal. Not in this model but Rav4. It is very expensive and labor intensive repair/replacement - he removed the interior cover. I hope they have fixed that issue in this new model where replacement is easy and simple. But still, sunroof is another place where water and wind can leak or seep-in once the rubber wears out. If I will keep the car for the long time, I will get the one without sunroof.

Yep definitely think twice about getting this if you don't have a covered parking space. And even then, the occasional outside parking can get you by surprise

After seeing one struggle so much to overtake a fully loaded L300 in Ligaya Drive the other day, you'd wish they put more power in this "GR" trim.

As usual with toyota. Grs is mostly a body kit, with minimal "racing" upgrades.

In most Toyotas that have GR badges, the upgrades are mostly cosmetics and little differences in the interior only...while those chinese cars like GAC emzoom and geely coolray that are priced around 1.2 million already has a powerful 1.5 turbo that has around 170-180 hp and has a better quality interior

why its not included in the expanded EV law, only the price of rav4 and alphard went down because it was japan made daw. the corolla cross is still imported

The Corolla Cross is made in Thailand, taking advantage of AFTA. The expanded EVIDA law will be beneficial to HEVs and PHEVs from countries PH doesnt have a free trade agreement with like Japan, USA, ROK, and the European countries

I think the centre tunnel need some upgrading as I think it is too bland compare to other brands . I also think the engine is under power for the size of the vehicle and lastly 2 colours to offer is consider too selfish from Toyota compare from he colours being offered to other regions. Should these features would be able to be addressed if the vehicle would have some facelifts overtime then I think the car would be more competitive in my opinion.

Oh no not a Chinese car. Generally speaking, the dealers claim that there are parts available but in reality you have to wait several months for them to secure the parts. I hv spoken to several Chinese car owners who bought Chinese cars and parts availabilty is always the issue.

Go with the BYD sealion 6 since toyota will be using BYD’s batteries in there cars sooner.. so now those super fanboy will hush their mouth since theire fave brand will collaborate with chinese market..also the parts availability is an old saying paso na yan..dami ngang toyota na nasa casa ilang buwan na walang parts nag re2klamo na ung iba inaabot na ng months kung readily ung parts edi sana walang complaint..mag research din pag may time sympre dedepensahan yan ng mga T-fanboys di papatalo kahit alam nila sa sarili na may mali. Di puro no to chinese cars or other brands niloloko nlang kayo ng toyota sa mga sasakyan nila kasi mindset ng pinoy takot sa pag babago stuck sa comfort zone ika nga.. at nakakatawa pa yung sasabihin daming parts kahit saan yes granted marami tlaga kasi sila na sa market na for many years..ikaw kaya na bago lang sa market sympre it takes time for the company to gain momentum makakahabol din gaya ng Korean cars dati ganyan din sinabi ng karamihan ngayon asan na sila they are on top par with the jap and euro cars..not to mention american cars din na habol na nila. Kaya wag kayong mag yabang na maraming parts at reliable kasi pag kinalas yung loob ng kotse nyo damin made in china na parts diyan hndi JDM na pinag yayabang lagi ng mga fanatic sa brand..wag mag pakabulag kahit niloloko na kayo pikit mata parin karamihan sasabihin pa about WPS buti nga watercanon lang yung sa kanila eh ung japanese brand na pinag tatanggol nila pumatay at nag abuso ng mga kababaihan na pinoy pinay nung araw..wag mag paka hypocrite mga people..🙇🙇‍♂️(toyota CEO) we cheated in many ways just google us.✌️ also habol ko lang dami nilang Recalls in many countries.

I just bought one and about to sell the car after driving it for 200kms. The fuel consumption is advertised as 6,8 liters per 100 km, however, it's running at 9 liters per 100 kms ☹️

This car is ridiculous. The max output is the same as city HB Jazz or mazda 2 😂 no wonder it's fuel efficient (with battery cost to replace) it's just as efficient as 1.5L na. But the price is CX-5 teritory which already use Multi Link suspension while this is Torsion Beam. The US and Europe version actually is good because it's Zenix engine. This 1.8 hybrid must be a joke from Toyota. Great car with bad pricing, if for this price they put 2.0 Hybrid then it is just at the right price

Typical Toyota formula. Underpowered engine, CVT transmission, Plastic interiors, Overpriced and on top of that is nowhere near the 90s Toyota TRUE DURABILITY and Reliability. Only PARTS availability is making this modern Toyotas especially Daihatsus run longer. Easy replacement parts for the NOT as durable parts as its used to be. Funny Enough Pinoys still praise it despite Toyota MILKING their hard earned money. Their NCAP safety rating is also a big unknown (if its still accurate or not).
