@victorsarmiento91464 ай бұрын
Trimmed down na naman. yung Q variant sa Thai/Indonesia may pano sunroof na. Dito ang mahal na nga wala pa rin. Hehe.. I feel like it’s time to avoid Toyotas nowadays, dahil sobra na rin ang greed ng local distributors/dealers. Ang ibang brands 6 months to 12 months na interval ng maitenance sila 3 months pa rin. Haha.. I know it depends on the oil pero tatakutin ka sa warranty. Not to mention they’re way overpriced for the quality/feature they offer. Although TNGA is the best thing Toyota did in recent times. But that’s about it.

Sa Pinas, we always seem to get the raw end of the deal. With the hybrid variant we get nickel hydride battery whereas the rest gets lithium ion, we get the FWD instead of the 4WD, then the CVT instead of the eCVT, Then often with lower engine displacement. Tapos mas mahal pa! Compare it to other countries in Asia and other car brands it's across the board.
@mark_u3 ай бұрын
All Innova Zenix/Hycross models around the world are FWD-only and have the NiMH battery, which Toyota is says is better suited to "hot weather conditions," shared by the countries where this vehicle is sold in. All Toyota hybrids also use an eCVT, which automotive journalists often fail to mention correctly. Only part we're getting the short end of the stick is that Toyota isn't offering 8 seats with the hybrid.
@mcappperspective60992 ай бұрын
It would be hard for Toyota Phil to get rid of their diesel engine cars since we brought cars not all for personal use but for public utilities as well and more so our public roads are prone to floods. Thus, I think electric vehicles or hybrid cars would be a challenge here to be durable and reliable like the old fashion diesel engine cars.

However, since you can only afford one you are hesitant to gamble on the Chinese brand. Maybe in 5 years time , China will rule the market. Supply chain for parts and after sales support will stabilize. For now pass muna. Kahit nakakatemp na.

Still skeptical about these hybrids in the long term because you're now maintaining 2 engines
@troy55684 ай бұрын
The electric battery engine will not need much maintenancing, if at all, aside from keeping the battery safe and secured. Besides, due to hybrid cars' regenerative braking capabilities, you are putting less wear and tear on your brakes, which further prolongs its lifespan, and requiring less maintenance as well.

Still skeptical if in the US and Canadian market most of their Toyota hybrids last for 10 plus years?
@migzc36043 ай бұрын
The only thing you need to maintain on your battery is the fan filter. Keep it clean and unobstructed, and you’re good to go. Old gen Priuses in the US can easily reach 300k miles before the battery may start to have problems. Take note, “MAY”. So as long as you maintain it, it’ll last a very long time. The car already paid for itself in terms of gas savings.
