What is an amazing design model of the Land Cruiser, totally reshaped with this new modern sophisticated design and I ready feel the convenience and the comfortability of it, although it didn't arrive yet to the middle east market, but I'm really excited to see it in the reality. great job brother Brian, you did great in this video, as usual you've pointed out clearly and professionally all the big and the small details, except the buttons which really needs a tutorial video that we're waiting for, much appreciate all your efforts. Sending all the best wishes for you, your family and your channel, from Egypt your sincere fan, peace ✌

@brianruperti I bought this version of the LC about 2 weeks ago, and I've seen tons of reviews prior to purchasing, but I have to say your review was far more informative for me than a lot of the others. Especially the portion about the hybrid system.

Hi thank you so much for watching! This made my day to read. I’m so happy people like this one! :-)

This or Acura MDX Type-S? same price. Hod prop rodes are likely for that mechanical retro feel while opening the engine bay.

I am very fussy with the texture of the driver and passenger knee pad. Is it soft enough on the side of your knee when resting ?
@brianrupertiАй бұрын
Interesting. My never rests on the plastic much so I don’t have much feedback on that, sorry. Not tall enough!
@michaelmariani4059Ай бұрын
@@brianruperti hahah all good. On my 300 it’s nice and soft. My knees always on the pads. Don’t know why 🤷🏼♂️

In my opinion I think they should have added a 3rd row because there is just to much space in the trunk.

Can someone tell me if the driver’s seat sits very low?

It does not

Overseas they sell a more basic Land Cruiser 250 with the old, reliable 2.7 2TR-FE engine. They should bring it here and call it the 1957 Edition. 😁

6’5” drive it leg room fine. Be nice to have more width for occasional leg spread but comfortable enough to justify purchase. Rides like a truck. I’m coming from a town car for 9 years so easily noticeable to me.

As a driver, which vehicle do you like to sit in and drive? The new Tacoma or the Land Cruiser?

@@brianruperti I'm shocked! So I guess the Land Cruiser will be a better fit for you over the 4Runner.

Reality check….a base 1958 is $60k… for that you get a cheap hard plastic interior, rental car seat material, sub par tech, MANUAL SEATS, a hood prop not hood struts like my 2007 …YES 2007 FJ Cruiser has, a anemic I4 turbo hybrid that is slow as $hit regardless of the advertised horsepower/torque, don’t forget about the 1970s Cadillac floaty ride, as for the afterthought JC Whitney battery location, it looks 100x worse in person…thus is a $45k vehicle with a $15k emblem, don’t believe me? Take a test drive and report back. SHAME ON TOYOTA !!!!
@brianrupertiАй бұрын
You definitely don’t like the Land Cruiser. It’s pricey for sure. What would you currently pick over this truck?
@BERZERKERSV4Ай бұрын
@@brianruperti it's not an issue of like vs not like.. it's value for your money...the LC in any form represents a piss poor value for the money...my expectations were high indeed...but after 2 lengthy test drives...the LC is a POS , not representative of what Toyota was 15 years ago and certainly not for a base LC at $60k..just look at the beating the new Tundras and Tacomas are taking....that's the new mindset at Toyota - sub par quality.. But I must thank Toyota because the value of clean FJ Cruisers are going through the roof as well as prior Tacoma generations... We live in a time of $100k F150s, Ram1500s and Broncos....and that's the reason why these vehicles are languishing on dealer lots....the buying public are revolting
