I have a 2020 Pro that I ordered from the factory late 2019. Love it and one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. I like this new 4th gen, but I am afraid to see what the sticker prices will be once the dealers do their greedy markups.

I have a 2018 Off Road that I also love to death and best vehicles I've owned as well. (With a few alterations.. pedal commander and seat jackers being 2 things that should have came that way from factory). I honestly don't LOVE the new looks of the 2024 tacoma as much as I fell in love with the Gen 3. In my (humble) option, while it is still a VERY nice truck, it is looking too much like other trucks these days. What made me LOVE Gen 3s so much is how identifiable they are, and how much different they are from every other truck while still looking mean and ultra-capable.

@@slapt3245 Should have spent that peddle commander money on a tune pack. The peddle commander is a waste of money, a tune will give you better shift points, gear lock, gets rid of drive-by-wire throttle delay (what you were hoping to accomplish with commander), opens up power bands so the truck isn't such a pig below 3k rpm, etc. Plus it gave my 2 more mpg avg. Look into it if you havnt already, it completely changes the truck in the best of ways.

@geom44 Жыл бұрын
What gives me hope on the Turbo hybrid is that they have a similar system in the Tundra and Sequoia (Same battery in the IMAX if im not mistaken). If they are doubling down on putting same/similar batteries and turbos in the Tundra/Sequoia, it bodes well for parts and overall design/support for all drivetrains they implement it in. Willing to bet the new 4runner gets similar treatment to the Tacomas, further widening the adoption of smaller engines, boosted with turbos and batteries. Streamline the parts, streamline the costs.
@user-ej1bq4bq2w Жыл бұрын
