Price point is good. Toy has never been the low cost alternative. Resale value is excellent and don’t know what the problem is with reliability. And the competition isn’t a Toyota. You’ll realize that when it’s time to sell.

Its the deep discounted sales from the other manufacturers that cause volatility in their brand prices and cause resale issues more than anything.

Kenny the back seat is trash. It is what it is. They did improve allot of things on the new gen. Up front seating definitely better. MSRP is the deal killer. I've said it before and will say again its not competitive for the segment. With the higher bank rates and higher monthly payments most buyers will gravitate to more affordable options.

@@itsallminor6133 You can find Nissan frontier loaded P4X for around 45K with discounts. Loaded ZR2 Colorado for 49K. TRD Pro Taco's will cost 65-70K. A base SRD taco cost as much as a XLT 2024 Ranger with FX4. I'm just saying its not remotely competitive for the segment. Why are you comparing half tons in this segment. Many toyota dealers are already discounting which is UNHEARD of for Toyota. At minimum they are about 5K over the rest of the segment. With Nissan more like 10K. Which is a better truck IMO with much better build quality fully boxed frame at the Canton plant in Mississippi USA rather then the garbage at toyota at baja Mexico with all the workers quitting at their suppliers due to low wages. In short they are all crossing the border freely to make more wages. LOL. Toyota's supply chain is knackered.

2024 Smaller gas tank 18.6 vs the 3rd gen with 21.1 gals… Yes the Trailhawk and TRD would be nice to be able to get those seats in the Pros.. I would wait for the 2025 ..just around the corner…

The only reason I would think about trading my 3rd gen for a 4th gen is being able to put 35s on without needing to trim the body. The price still needs to come down about another $8k.

I’ve been driving the truck the last few days and it really drives good but they definitely had some problems early on and I’m pretty used to the truck so I know how it drives I think in the city stop and go it can be a little annoying sometimes because it just doesn’t seem like, it wants to drive very fast.
