@@MichaelRichards983 And that is why things get pricier because of people like you that get used to the higher prices and allowing corporate a**h***s take advantage of us. How many earnings' calls have you listen to lately and see how arrogant those CEOs are. I came to this country 20 years ago. This year is the first year I am hearing young Americans that want to leave the U.S., the Greatest Country in the World. I am not talking about old, reach Americans that want to live like a kings in Costa Rica, I am talking about young people. Yah, get used to it too. Now, if you had a bought a $74,000 truck with 5.5% APR, your payment would have been like a second mortgage. Get used to it. 12 months ago my insurance premiums for 6 months was $479.99 , 6 months later, is $746.99, and they are going to raise it up again 30% - 40%. Get used to it ha. In 2008 my annual tuition cost here in the U.S. was $4.800, for a third tier public university. Now, my son's tuition cost is $31,000+ per year for a school that is even ranked below the one I attended. Get it used to it. The only way these thieves will stop stealing our hard earned money is if we DON"T GET USED TO IT, engrave that in your head, and instead of telling people get used to it, open your eyes and think before something comes out of your mouth. I can go on on, it helps me with my mental illness. For example, how many young adults can buy a house now, ha? Get used to it. miserable Thank you very much for your senseless advice. After months of looking, I recently picked up my 2024 Tundra TRDPro (black/black) with no markup. I drove it back from Michigan in a blizzard! The only thing I wish I could change is the bed length, I’d love to have the option >5.5 ft. Other than that it’s a very solid truck, no squeaky plastic or parts rattling on the interior. The “pumped-in” engine growl is nice and aggressive.

I purchased the same truck, same color the last week of December without the tow mirrors for under MSRP. The only options were predator steps, spray in liner and the bed step. For me it was perfect the way I purchased it. I only have 2,000 miles on it but so far it’s been perfect, no sound issues, no build quality issues,🤞🏻 it stays that way. At first I thought the fed in sound was ridiculous but it’s grown on me and honestly I don’t even notice it anymore.

I have my sights on the NEW Magnum TVS2650 Supercharger & have a very reliable shop to do the work and tune. Lastly & most importantly, is this too much mileage to s/c? Any supporting mods that are a must? (I already know you recommend & love it) Both truck & engine are excellent condition. I tow (around 3000-5000 lbs) 25% of the time. Beautiful truck! My concern like others is engine reliability? I have 2012 tundra with 5.7 engine! I have had a prior 2009 tundra. I’m questioning whether I need to wait and see what happens with the new iforce max! I have read turbo forums and car care forums on how the engine shuts off the electric motor in cold? Your thoughts?
@TundraDude34
@TundraDude34 4 ай бұрын
I think as the years go on with this generation, all the bugs will be worked out, and we will see the reliability be there. Could be just me, but one thing i noticed while driving this one around, it seemed like it didn’t go to battery as often as my 2022 did.
@jcc9925
@jcc9925 4 ай бұрын
Well, there were probably people back in 2009-13 who complained the the 5.7 wouldn't be as reliable as the 4.6 and that worrisome thoughts went nowhere. Toyota took 15 years to get the 3rd gen right and they won't be left embarrassed. The whole Turbo thing is a red herring the Big 3 probably all conjured up. I had my 22 for a year and had no problems at all.

Did not like the ride in my 2020 TRD Pro. Looked at these, but still not the best ride - much happier in the new Platinum. I put on a lot of road miles as opposed to off roading. Also opted for the gas version which has plenty of power and the extra storage under the rear seat. Overall, really surprised at how much I like the 2024. Still too expensive, but at least I feel like the Toyota quality is coming back to the Tundra. Most irritating issues for me are still too much road noise (needs better sound insulation) and the JBL sound system is still very weak. In this price range I would expect a top notch sound system. Trying to resist the urge to take the interior out and reinsulate the whole thing. It really improves the sound quality of the JBL system…

I have to take issue w the "fake" noise. I actually ordered a TRD Pro two years ago, which actually arrived last week. We walked away from the deal as the sound was soooo intrusive. Even while being ginger on the pedal, I could not get rid of that horrendous noise. The other problem is that the dealer was adamant that the sound is NOT fake, and nothing can be done. Can you verify a dealer that can and does shut this noise down, and I will get them in contact w my dealer. My order is still sitting in their lot. Thank you...

This is no way I’m spending $75K on a truck with no tow hooks in front. Dumbest move by Toyota on these new Tundras. Come on Man!

Don't pay MSRP. And the Pros are all hybrids so that's $4k right there. Get a SR5 TRD Offroad and you're in the low $50s.

For that kind of money the average Joe will have to live in it. The Tundra face is still a big eye sore in my view.
