NOT FALSE that it’s VERY COMPARABLE to the Lexus RX. I’ve had Lexus, and I now have the Venza Limited with every option, and they are very, very similar. Much better finish’s than the RAV4. Very quiet ride. I can’t speak to the lower price versions.

I just bought a 2024 Toyota Venza Limited. I would not consider the Venza a luxury car. It's more of an upscale version of the Rav4 with some Lexus RX components. It rides better than the Rav4. It's a lot quieter and the technology is more Lexus-like than in the Rav4. If you want a Lexus but can't afford one then get the Venza. It's a "little" Lexus without the Lexus price. So far, I LOVE this car. The gas mileage is great. I'm averaging 38.7 mpg city. Also, it's so much quieter than my Mazda CX-5. The trunk space is smaller than the Rav4 and the driver side leg room is a little cramped if you are on the tall side. Overall, the Venza is a nice car. If you can get the Limited for around $38,000, then it is well worth the price. A year ago they were selling for around $50,000. So sad to see it go😢😢😢

Great video. I love my 2023 Venza Limited, it drives comfortably, and I love the elegant look of it. I turned off lane assist and stopped using cruise control because they wore out my tires fast. The only minor complaint I have, I wish the 360° camera button was placed in the vehicle where the button can be easily accessed. I use the 360° camera 99% of the time when parking.

It's not meant to be a luxury vehicle. That's what Lexus is for. I've owned both a Venza & a RAV4 hybrid limited. The seats in the Venza are way more comfortable. It's also a more quiet ride and for some reason even though they both have the JBL sound system, the one in the Venza sounds better. Toyota's 4th generation hybrid will go down in history as one of the most reliable hybrid platforms ever created. It's really a disservice for Toyota to call it's planetary gear set an e-CVT as it has nothing in common with a standard continuously variable transmission. It is built like a tank, has no belts to wear out like typical cvts and has no clutches like those in a standard transmission BOTH of which are designed to wear out. if one simply replaces the cooling fluid at regular maintenance intervals the planetary gear set used in both the Venza and the RAV4 hybrid should last half a million miles or more try doing that with one of their Faux luxury Korean hybrid competitors. The transition from internal combustion engine to electric motor only is the smoothest currently available. One of the highest compliments vehicle is that you don't notice it's a hybrid. That is exactly what you get when you buy a Venza. Also since Toyota chose to use a naturally aspirated engine infiltration into the motor oil due to the higher pressures. With all due respect, Toyota owners appreciate solid engineering design over fluff...😊

I think the Venza has a good amount of sound deadening material in it. The elevated cabin noise on highways is mainly due to the tires. I have a ‘24 Venza Limited and it came with Bridgestone Ecopias. They’re low-resistance tires that are designed to maximize fuel economy. The downside is that they transmit a lot of road noise. I’ve read many owners who said the road noise dropped significantly when they switched out the Ecopias with standard tires like the Michelin CrossClimate 2s. You do lose 1-2 mpgs when switching to standard tires, but you end up with a quieter cabin.

I have a 22 Venza Le. Great vehicle overall, I agree that Toyota is ripping customers off. For $30k, heated seats and fake (softex) leather should be standard. I just switched out the cloth seats to Katzkin, very impressed with how they turned out. Feels like a premium vehicle now (options were limited when I purchased mine due to the vehicle shortage, no XLE or Limited available). Will probably move to Mazda for my next purchase once they implement Toyota Hybrid technology.

It's funny, but I would say you're probably right about Toyota's core customer base: that Nissan really could sell a Rolls-Royce for 30,000 and we still wouldn't bite. (Unless this imaginary scenario included light maintenance costs too.) The official mpg on the Venza made me shrug it's probably not best for highway driving for a corporate jungle warrior like me.

My 1998 Accord Coupe with the fully independent double wishbone suspension was so much better handling than the 2012 Camry hybrid XLE I had. 14 year newer car not even close to being as good. That Accord with the Camry hybrid drive train (something Acura should offer (something similar anyway)) would be the best of both worlds. The Accord had the big engine (V6) that makes it even more challenging for a front wheel drive vehicle to handle well.

I came from Audi Q5 premium plus. And to be honest Venzas driving experience not far apart from q5. And it is just as quiet. Latest release , 2023, does have improved sound insulation. At least limited edition is quiet enough , I cannot say anything about le and xle. We also have Lexus Rx 350. Yes it is a cushier ride, but not worth extra 20 grand. And 42 mpg just cherry on the top.
@MeynMotorGroup
@MeynMotorGroup 9 ай бұрын
I’m personally considering getting either a Venza or CR-V Hybrid soon but I would like to know your source please on 2023 models coming with improved sound insulation, Toyota has not confirmed this in their press releases in fact 2023 is a carryover with just the Nightshade being released. I tested the Limited as well but I’m just going to go with an LE model with smaller wheels. Replacing the ECO tires will go a long way and may personally try to add some foam in certain areas to quiet the vehicle down like some are doing in the forums because they want to address the higher noise issues. Its like I said I don’t hate these vehicles, I just want people to get their expectations right, the Venza Limited I tested was a fine economy car in fact I’m considering buying one, it’s just not a luxury car and that’s ok I just want people to know what this really is. I tested multiple Q5s and they were far ahead of the Venza in terms of refinement that’s another Vehicle that I can lease for not much money but I would like to buy out the vehicle at the end of the lease so that’s why I crossed out the Q5. I’m not taking anything away from your experience. I do believe you there’s just so much inconsistency with cars. I tested a new Q8 which drove worse than a Q5 but in general, I’ve had a consistently great experience with Audi in terms of refinement and I’ve consistently had road noise, engine noise, and wind noise with Toyotas. The new Crown was one of the most refined New Toyotas I tested. I would have got it but it’s got a regular trunk and we need an SUV. But I really appreciate you stopping by my friend and sharing your insights with us. God Bless!

@@MGUSA I had/have both , my Venza overall is better vehicle. Yes nice materials and layout in Q5 (not everywhere, the doors are actually firmer). Noise inside of cabin is about the same. But usability/features and tech hands down better on Venza/limited, except of audi's digital cockpit). Hated control button. Overpriced service. MPG was ok, but not as good as on Venza. Yes handling is a little better in Q5, but thats why you buy one if thats your preference. I was told that original Venzas had issues with sound insulation near side mirrors. May be thats the case. Well, all I can tell, you can always sell your venza for a good price and buy Q5 which will lose 50% of its value in first 5 years. Also my limited trim has features that you can have only on the Prestige trim of Q5, which takes you to lower 60K price range.
