We Unbox the latest Umarex Airsoft GBB product the 2024 Barretta PMX SMG. This is new SMG features KWA's newest gas system and is a definite improvement!!!! This it a work of art!!!!

Why? I feel AEG is more practical for games than gbb. GBB is realistic but not suitable for game. GBB will get pit down easily by AEG massive ammo and consistent performance.

During review please show and dissasembly hop up unit aswell. Im on a fence with what gbb smg/pcc to buy and I really want to know what exatly sits inside. Your doing great job with all reviews btw!

Everything on mine is pretty solid, except for the bolt catch. That has some left to right play, if it’s all the way to the right, it always catches. If to the left it doesn’t (like in the video). Even worse on MP9 mags. Seems to need some shimming to keep it from moving out and left.

hi there, the reason it didn't lock back in the unboxing video was due to me not putting a sufficient amount of gas in the mag as since then I have not had that happen since. I will keep an eye out for it though. I did try the vmp1 mags but could not get them to lock properly so I would say there not compatible. the price of pmx mags are the same as mp9/vmp1 mags so its ok.

Nice looking bit of kit. Just a shame about the exposed spring channel down the front of the magazine. Why do certain manufacturers do this, takes away the realism, never mind. Get a stubby shusher on it.👌🏻

To be fair, the TM MP7 has the same issue. I've not had a problem from it yet though, but I can imagine over time, debris may get into the mechanism and clog it up a bit.

Hi there, the berretta pmx has kwa's new rotary hop. Very accurate so far for a stock, out of the box gas smg.

Are these the same mags that can fit in a KWA MP9? I have six mags and dont wanna buy six more mags again lol

Hi there, in theory, yes, but I saw both with the mp9 and vmp1 mags. The bolt carrier lifted a few mm out of alignment, and that can cause excessive wear on the parts and had occasional missfeeds. The difference is so negligible, but enough I would stick to the oem mags.

Hi there, the mags are huge and I only put a small amount of gas in. I can confirm that after a lot of testing over Christmas, it does lock back reliably. So far, it will do 2x full mags and lock back, which is 96bbs on one charge of gas.

Hi there, I did try the vmp1 mags, and sadly, they don't really work well in the pmx.

@@MiddleAgeGameruk probably original KWA mags will work?? After all the Vorks is a re-tooled lower quality MP9, and the original KWA MP9 was discontinued for good after a licence loss like their Vector.
