I lot of good usable information here, Ken. Thanks for the effort. Don't take pond or bank fishing lightly. I still do it more than going to a lake. It's a lot of fun, brings back memories & it's challenging. It's also perfect for a small child to get started fishing. I've even gone so far as to get a travel rod to take on my ATV 2 miles behind my house to fish a creek. Fish ponds,guys. It's a blast. Try some BFS gear on a pond. Good Times.

I got some slight disagreement on package boats not being a good deal. For nitro / triton the package boats are only a few grand more than the base, with a much better ghost trolling motor, a 12 and a 9 and active target. Buy that and add poles and a 12 up front yourself and it’s way cheaper than adding them from the factory.
