Yes it was the first Rollercoaster I've been on and I went pale on the drop I screamed at the top of my lungs the whole ride

Just re-track a couple of areas where the transitions are a bit wonky from the construction method, repaint, and either new trains or just new restraints and it's golden again. Still runs like a champ. This ride gets way too much hate. It's one of the best first drops in the park and has great pacing throughout. It's the last of its kind and should be an ACE landmark.

Ahh the memory's. I never forget the first time I rode this when it opened back in April 1990. It was crazy and the lines always had a 3 hour wait. LEGENDARY

The viper gets no love, its one of the most exhilarating rides at six flags, SEVEN inversions!! With a pretzel role. It was introduced in 1990 so it gets on love because of how old it is. One of my favorites at magic mountain.

I remember seeing it being built. I used to live in Saugus. I was 1 of the 1st 100 or so to first ride it. I was only 10 and when I got to the ride height limit sign I wasn't tall enough and an older kid had me step on his foot so I was tall enough to ride it 😂 Shout out to the older kid 🤜 I used to work at Six Flags too

This ride wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. And those loops are INSANELY quick and tight, the Gs I experienced on this thing were unmatched. Don’t let the roughness deter you, just ride it once 😂

The shockwave at SFGAm was so fun. But you would pass out after the double loops due to its half turn, unlike the vipers full turn. It was amazing lol.

The key to surviving a massive headache on this ride is keeping your head to one side. Don’t let your head flop around because your head will bang on the restraint. That’s my tip. Works for me everytime. I don’t do intense coasters anymore. It wreaks havoc on my body.

Ever want to develop neck or back problems? Just ride Viper! God i hope they actually give this ride some TLC and shut it down for a refurb but odds are i dont see this coaster making it another decade in its current state.
