2024 Volkswagen Jetta Sport 1.5T APR Cold Air intake install and review

Great video. This isn’t my first Jetta (2 GLIs and an R-line) before the ‘25 I just bought. Same motor so I was looking for videos on the 1.5T. These are fairly straight forward install, thanks for putting in the work to show it off. I’ll Probably do the same when I install one on my ‘25🤙🏼

Owned a 2016 Jetta 1.4T S basically same motor with a Stage 1 tune on 93 and intake. Torque delivery once you tune these motors is insane! I missed that motor so much I bought a 2024 Taos 1.5T DSG and will be getting this intake and will keep it non tuned until out of warranty. I also own a 2021 GLI DSG 2.0T tuned and it's an amazing car but it's crazy how much I still miss and love the 1.4T-1.5T somehow when you throw it on a Jetta or Taos base model lol. Reliability wise I ran the 1.4T tuned from 20K to 121K never one problem!

@@danielferrer6169 that was prolly the easiest part. Just disconnect from factory intake box and slip the new filter on and secure with zip ties

thanks for the video. Not alot of videos about 1.5t Jetta and this video was great. I like the noise that the intakes makes, but how is the driveability? did it improve the turbo lag?

@@EggyBuilds turbo lag is waaaay better. The jerk you would feel when slowly accelerating the car is gone

Hey man! I plan on picking up either a 1.5T manual or hopefully a slightly used GLI manual in late 2024. Hopefully the arrival of the 2025 facelift drops the prices. A 2025 1.5T would have been ideal, but NO manual!! Anyways, I have subscribed and will follow your journey with this car! What's next?

@@gabeperdomo2152 it shouldn’t. Only time I can is if your issue is in direct relation to the aftermarket part. For example if your engine blows up and it’s from a rod bearing failing. Nothing to do with the intake

I have the same model i have a 2023 vw jetta sport but i have the 8 speed auto and right now im trying to get a Tune for the 1.5 but it has to be a custom tune but wrd tune is going to call me back for a set up tune then APR intake but i cant find that air intake on the apr site?
