I really like it and indeed have just ordered an Elegance. I am a current owner of a 2021 Skoda Superb and was about to buy another one after the 2024 model came out. Unfortunately, test drive was a huge disappointment as the seats were really poor in terms of comfort and were a marked downgrade from the past models - for some reason you never hear that on the KZbin reviews, but it is undoubtedly the case. In a moment of frustration I went for a test drive on the 2024 Tiguan and just loved it. They also had comfortable seats which sold it for me. I do not want to tear down country lanes at high speed, but want a comfortable diesel car with lots of tech that is pleasant to drive - this just fits the bill perfectly. Indeed, if you are looking for diesel cars at the moment, the choice is much more limited than it was.

Bought the new R Line edition back in June. It's amazing. R line with standard seats and dynamic chassis control DCC Pro are the must haves.

Had an old one. Tried to switch to a Volvo but it was a massive disappointment. I’m in a brand new T line Tiguan now and it just does everything

Do you know if the Head-Up Display also shows navigation directions from Waze (when using Apple CarPlay)?

You can get the 265hp 2.0 in the top spec Tiguan

Just ordered an Rline. I considered the Kodiak and when asked by my friend why I didn't go for the Skoda, my only response was, my wife said, you're NOT getting a f*cking Skoda! She still thinks they're like the Estelle 😂

We in the uk are getting ripped off by our very own European car manufacturers! A bmw 3 series cost in china 25k and the very same car in the same spec in Uk its 48k. We as customers need more cars from different manufacturers, specially from china. They are 3steps ahead in technology. Yet cheaper. Isnt this your 2nd review of this car? The last review you said it was totally terrible ride.

As a former owner of MK2 R-Line and an owner of MK3 R-Line, I enjoy the MK3 much more. It looks great with R-Line Black Style package in Cipressino green and this new model has better looking proportions than MK2 thanks to longer engine compartment. MK3 has more comfortable suspension, it is much quieter inside on the highway, has better interior materials, ventilated leather seats with massage function are just fantastic and it has many new options and features which were not available in the old model.

To be honest it’s a really bad car. In 3 months the rear passenger windows cracked because of thermal shock. The front vw sign (a piece of cheap plastic) cracked, had to pay 250eur to replace it. The start button and the rotating knob dis-attached, had to get it fixed back. The car sometimes doesn’t start at all, have to keep pressing the start button for several times to get it started. If i drive in eco mode for long distances the battery wouldn’t charge and the car wouldn’t start the next morning. Btw the vw mobility is piece of sh. And i could go on and on. My advice - wait for the next facelift and stay away from this make - it’s a really bad car.

Man, those touch sensitive buttons, I would never buy a car that I have to do that in order to turn on the clima... such a stupid hazard

The ONE thing screaming at me from this car is: BLAAAAAND. It looks AI-generated according to some Excel. It does look practical and the tech is interesting but the design is absolutely off putting. The interior design less so but it's still clearly for VERY old people. The big button with an LCD is like an aftermarket gimmick and the central screen is just badly integrated in the dash. You don't need it to be so tall, especially when you also have a digital driver's screen. Again, this car is completely soulless. It's something they cooked up according to a check list and nothing more. The previous model actually looks better to me, which is quite rare.

I actually prefer the Kodiaq in most areas. I especially like the smart dials. I also just prefer the interior vibe of the Skoda, despite it being pretty similar otherwise…

Really like the Skoda, but it’s a bit long for me, so have gone with the Tiguan Elegance, should arrive in a few months

Nice review, quite dull car, especially at the side of that jacket!! I mean C'Mon.. Tim, have a word with yourself ... ;) and yes it may have been a reasonable price in TK Max, but just because you could..... didnt mean that you should ... (Bought it imean) :) "Have a great day" ps ... just subscribed, not because of your review style (which is really good btw) , but for fashion tips :)
