A 2025 rating boost could hopefully come from a simple mates trip with Doug and bring Joe now he’s on the mend. Love your vids and been a long time subscriber. I suppose KZbin has been diluted with those doing similar things now. Remember there’s many that copied Hendrix and some to a higher degree but there can only be one Hendrix. I just like the fact that Shawn was doing his own thing without the hint of them & us. This is a time of enormous change and we need to all come together, and work together. So as much as I’ve loved this channel I’m not interested in the issues.

Some investments are Yielding well for me this last year, I had 2 trees come down on my property from Pacific Coast Winter Storms without damaging the house thank goodness. My beloved ACD Kody died from indiscriminate poisoning. I had my mind made up that I was not going to get another dog but my Mother in the twilight of her life said some things to me that reached deep into my heart as no one else could and I ended up getting another ACD Pup, named Kody-O. 2024 was not a good year for me ! Always have enjoyed your videos and have learned so much! I believe you started the trend not talking when you built your first log cabin! One of my projects this year Shawn is to build a scale model of the cabin that started it all for my fascination with your channel and lifestyle. I toyed with that idea when he was building the cabin and getting close to the roof, I started to count logs and convert known dimensions to scale. Doing it right would take quite a bit of time, but the idea still interests me.

Subscriber since 2017. You arent kidding about 2024. I never missed a video ever until June. Then my wife left me. I stopped watching everything. Prepping videos, you, hockey, everything. All my focus has been on crawling out of the abyss. Turning a corner emotionally as I turned the calendar year. Looking forward to easing back into things that made me happy. Shawn, I have been following your My Self Reliance since 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed your content. Your first cabin was great content,from start to finish, outdoor kitcen, Saunna. The second cabin is a really, great. Looking forward to your new projects this year bedroom addition and garage. I recognize all things come to and end and it will be a real shame to shutdown this channel.

At a crossroads it sounds. Experience helps to create wisdom. For my two penny’s, I would say that most of us (your subscribers) probably watch all three channels and are probably the same people that just love watching your content no matter what channel. An Artist once said, when the subject is strong……then the medium doesn’t matter. So don’t beat yourself up and work yourself to death. Do it once, record it once, and put it out there once. It will help you focus and help save time. Either way I look forward to whatever you share and whichever channel you choose. Time is precious!
