I have a Nashville barrel company 7 year pick from coxs evergreen in louisville and it is amazing!

@GLENBECKHAM i have only had this one because I live in a small town and we dont.get picks around here or much of a diverse selection. Luckily I live only a little over an hour from louisville so I have to go there to get my bourbon. I picked this up over an 11 year OKI single barrel and on the way home I was kind of kicking myself for not getting the 11 year OKI pick but once I opened it I was very happy with my selection!

@@brettmchan2855i live in California so I only have a russells single barrel pick from them. Its one of my favorite bourbons. Im babying it because I’ve never had a russells pick that was this good. We actually just went to Kentucky again last week but we didnt have time to stop at a cox evergreen since we were in versailles this time. Hopefully in 25’ we can go to Louisville and I can bring home another single barrel pick from them.

A buddy of mine just shared a sample for me to taste a couple of days ago. Very dense! Short lived burn for the proof point. Notes from my experience; Caramel, baking spice, cherry, vanilla, leather, a touch of basement mustiness funk (in a good way) and to me, it finishes like a spiked veraion of a Werthers Original candy. Very good, but a bit rich for more than 1 or two sippers worth.

I haven't had that pick but when I saw the color of the whiskey, my first guess was NBC. I'm a big fan of their whiskey and all the ones I have are also very dark in color. Then, I second-guessed myself when you started talking GTS. THEN, when you aged it around 7 years, I guessed NBC again. Great job! These videos are fun. Merry Christmas!

I used to watch a lot of WhiskeyTube. At this point, I basically watch Jason C and whiskey Geoff. Everyone else has lost my interest with their backdrops of 500 whiskeys I’ll never see (or insane quantities of duplicates that kept others from getting one). Jason C is a beast.
